It should in fact be worth more than 200USD if GGG actually valued each pixels at 1:1 ratio. Hell, the Outlaw pack is already a very good bargain for what it brings to the table. Can confirm outlaw armor is sexy, weap effect is bling-y but I kinda like it.
Rest of armors are decent except Beast one, that's hideous. Second-class poe gamer

I just went back and looked at the armour sets. I'll probably end up using the outlaw set minus the little hat. I got my pack for the art book, not the mtx.

Oh snap...I'm sorry to say that I'm quite disappointed with armor designs in the upper end supporter packs. Not my style. I do like the Legion weapon effect, I may go for that one for $100 but we'll see.

I was going to make the exact same thread, soooo disappointed. Especially after reading that these were Chris's favorite ones yet and the highest quality sets ever produced. Blech. Even the gunslinger one, while kinda cool I guess, is hardly an upgrade over even some of the base evasion armors like Destiny Leather and Assassin's Garb. I feel like I'm spending hard earned cash for a glorified Shabby Jerkin.
Maybe I'm just still bitter about the fact that I missed out on the Forsaken Master packs while I was too busy working two jobs to play games, but every single one of those armor sets blows these out of the water. Same with the Atlas sets, they are just so much better than these new ones, and it's not even close in my mind. And just for some extra salt in the wound, the current background picture in Steam for POE is characters wearing those old sets (Masters) that you can no longer get...ouch. Seeing those old sets thrown in my face this last week wasn't so bad with the promise of new badass sets on the way but, ugh, they are just so terrible. It's my birthday on Saturday and I was going to treat myself with a nice big purchase to support my favorite game and get some cool MTXs but...not anymore I guess. $30 pack for a beta key might actually be all I'll get. So sad. Hope the next league's set is cool I guess... |
