DPS/ES leech numbers for crit howa after 3.0 (POB)

So edited the claws and removed the damage entirely from one and just amended the other, also removed vaal pact from my tree so you can see the difference in ES leech. This is a lvl 100 crit howa tree with pretty decent stuff.

Dunno what to say, still got loads of dmg but you are now the definition of glass cannon. This is also assuming dying sun and vinktars dont get nerfed.

Meanwhile seems signal fire will suffer much the same fate. Unless there is some change to ghost reaver which makes it so recharge delay is shortened by your leech value i dunno how es builds survive lel. I guess we go back to running in circles waiting for es to recharge or we all make spiderqueens :D

ES = Totems, traps, summoners, no direct attack/spell builds
Life = everyone else

That's how most players will adjust.

Why would i want to suffer with 7K es when 6K life w/ vaal pact and instant life flasks is so strong.

This is plainly an intentional metashift to life on behalf of GGG. They'll "fix es" in some future patch once they are content we've played enough life builds and bought enough MTX.

It's really that simple... after all of these years I am pretty convinced that GGG could give two shits about real balance.

Time to try other ways to survive on this skill. Now u have 1 shield slot with more ES instead of having to go dual wield.

Maybe Trickster with zealoths oath is a good alternative, more ES than ever, evasion helps with reflect, high ES pool helps with reflect too. Forget about leech on ES.

Edit: Also i would not go crit, and take elemental overload for 3.0 HoWA

Also use Shapers touch for more %Evasion, and maybe grace aura, u will have lots of evasion.

46% increased es on the tree. How much life would you have with 1k strength and 46% on the tree? I bet it would be less than 6.6k

Man, pls take int numbers in your ES math.

Leech is based on the total buffer amount. So yeah it's not going to be nice with a 6k pool.

As far as dps is concerned, craft a 30% elemental damage helmet with essences and put a dual strike in that for single damage burst.

God i hope they simply take vaal pact out, bored of all of this "well i never utilized defenses, why should i have to start now" bitching.
