enough DPS for what? Maybe up to 14 maps its satisfactory?

I suspect that if even I can design a 50K DPS build with 10K life - the real smartypantsers here will be able to do 200K DPS with 9K life without a problem |

If this is the required amount of Life Nodes in the tree for a build to be viable then there is no hope to pick any damage nodes whatsoever.
Even so you are still lacking dex and int to wear anything else other then red gems, or any leech mechanics to stay alive. I just hope GGG fixes volatiles and reflect mobs so we can at leat have a chance to stay alive with less then 10k HP. What is the fun in picking nothing else in the tree then Life Nodes. Here life RF build.
14400 life, 550K damage, shaper kill. But that is with legacy kaom. How much can be obtained in a temporary league? About 12000 HP. And you don't have passives points to put in damage cose you kill with your life pool. I saw HP melee build with 15000 HP but with damage so low that I got bored till they killed a boss. Life needs some better nodes on tree, end of story. |

" this is 200% true. got a character steamrolling content with 5k HP and millions DPS, life/ES isn't a very good invest if 99% of ennemies won't even have the time to react before being dead. On the other hand, i still had to use 4 different 6-7 %life jewels and all life nodes in the right side of the tree + T1-T2 life on gear (+leather belt) to get to those 5 285 dam HP at level 94... that not abusing broken mechanics, that just almost the only way to go if you don't want to be ES based. having a decent lifepool on the right side of the tree is a nigtmare, glass cannon is almost alway the way to go. by the way, 50K DPS is very low to deal with endgame content, have fun taking down the trio in uber atziri with 50K dps... maybe ok with totems, vaal lightning trap but making fight last too long is alway negative to your survivability. Stopped reading at Molten Strike....
