Are they a bit slower than kinetic blast screen clearing in one click? Sure, but they're not bad. They can be built quite tanky too unless you're using abyssus, which is one of the biggest noob traps I've ever seen.

Abyssus is only a newb trap if you have no idea how to build around it.
