Almost 1 shot by Izaro in Uber lab today

Those physical reduction percentages, are they from things like Arctic Armour, Basalt Flasks and The Red Trail or is it just what's displayed in the character screen with the armour?

Because I'd always heard that the armour phys damage reduction was next-to-useless for the big hits.

I died in trial of stinging pee. First sawblades (sting?), fine, then a huge dildo appear out of nowhere and spike shoots out of nowhere from the wall, fu very booring. Btw % based damage taken is counter incentive

Did a few 5 key run yesterday with just 5.3k life, shirtless. Argus hit harder than Izaro. U must be doing it wrong.

This game needs to decide if it is mmo or arpg? If it is arpg then they should leave the mmo mechanics. Like instant dead abilities, avoiding ground shit vs. Because there is no permanent death in mmos. Why? Dying is inevitable. There is no point playing hardcore unless you are doing low level map all day long. This game is shit.

whats wrong with telepgraphed one shot slams? If you stand still when Vaal oversoul raises his big ass club you deserve to die.

But perhaps you mean burst damage, or volatiles? The problem with these are that they are balanced around like 10k ES. There's the real problem.

While it's most likely true that the huge damage was done by a telegraphed attack it still indicates the unbalanced (and problem) that exists when a tough boss lands a crit blow on you. Out of thousands of quick responses to move out of harms way all the time, just one mis-timed/failed move and you're dead. With this kind of boss game play mechanics it's obvious why hardcore league is pretty much dead.

Probably going off his stat screen, which means his actual physical reduction is about 10%.

I kinda wish they didnt have the % listed as the 'estimated' reduction because its wrong in any scenario that it matters. It'd be much better if they only displayed the true physical reduction % there along with armour above it.
10k is nothing. And if you didn't have IC up as jugg and facetanked a big hit you deserve it. Seriously, you're making a post about something that people farm in less than 7 minutes pretty easily.

For reference I've been one shot by hammer smash (for science) on my jugg. It had almost 90k armor, basalt, full endurance charges, arctic armor. Guess what, you're not supposed to tank that hit.

This is like complaining the Shaper slam killed you, or core Malachai's port killed you. In essence, get good.
