Almost all of your defenses are manual cast atm. This makes it very dangerous to move in packs on monsters as they can quickly chain enough damage to kill you. I would run at least 1x CWDT with maybe bone offer / phase run to help you survive consecutive hits.

HI thanks for the response , i changed my stuff around to incorporate ball lightning and added spirit offering looking shiverwarps setup, need more time to test it , but not having to shield charge into apply EE is a HUGE life saver !!.. i play the most reckless way possible more often ,trying to get as much as damage on stuff

As for chaos resistance , yes its a big PITA , i picked UP arakali pantheon with 20% chaos res against DOT, that hopefully should help the added regen is a bonus !!

My next aim should be maxing the ES and obviously chaos res as you have said earlier , so is going for a presence of chayula straight away good?

or get flat es on other guy and then finally the amulet? (currenty my HP is 2822 and ES 3522)

this lets me do t15 fairy ok

You have still fairly low defenses. Last league many players reached 9k EHP with t2-3 rare items and other uniques. If you turn your Temp Chains to aura with blasphemy and boost it with Enhance, you start seeing mobs to really slow down.

The Golem / Specter hybrid that most players are running atm has more dps, but is missing on best defenses of the build. When you get level 21 golems, empower 3-4 and Skin of the Loyal, you can switch to Vertex, move specters to "The Hungry Loop" ring or boots instead of Animate Guardian. It will improve survivability massively. ;)

first how many anima stones do i need
second how many anima stones can work per set of 3 primordial jewels?
third what is the total number of golems would be summoned at a time

1) 1x Anime stone, the Anime stone only works with the first 3x Primordial jewels. The reason you stack the Harmonies is for the %-life regen on golems, so they become near immortal aswell as the %- increased cooldown recovery, which allows them to attack faster (not 100% sure on the last part).
2) Look at answer 1.
3a) 6 Golems, if you take the Elementalist ascendancy
3b) 5 Golems, if you take the Necromancer ascendancy AND use 2x Clayshapers

There are things like the hungry loop, but each summoned golem is a slot that could be taken by a fully powered 6L Flame Golem, and a little bit of increased damage is hardly gonna make up for that in most cases. Sure, you double your power...then divide it by 5.

I'm hardly a golem expert, but even with all the potential link nonsense you can get in gear this league, there just doesn't seem to be enough room to pack in enough support for that many golems as well as defenses when it would be much easier to just specialize.

As the guide says, don't buy the anima stone, buy the three primordial stones and vendor them to make your own anima for far cheaper. The primordial might jewel does still cost a fair bit though.

Now for my questions :

- maybe I missed it somewhere, but to reach a 28 golem we need an extra +1 to gems on the chestpiece ? Or look out for a helm with +3 to minion gems? Are there any alternatives I am overlooking ? Because I haven't found a chestpiece with the correct colors and with an extra +1 to gems...

- I love your work on the Animate Guardian part, but I am a cheap ass guy, so the possibility to lose the guardian's gear makes me reluctant. Do you think an option is the Impresence talisman - https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Impresence_(Fire), so that we can do a blasphemy + temporal chains + flammability (-100% mana reserved) + enhance ?

- If the option with Impresence doesn't work, do you think it's doable to just use 1 curse and use all the curse nodes in the tree for personal defense ?

Yep, Only 1x anima stone is needed. Anima Stone grants 1x extra Golem just by itself and second one when you have total of 3x other primordial jewels socketed with it (4x primordials in total). Like said harmonies are stacked to lower Golems (6 second) cooldown of skills and letting them cast magma orb as often as possible. Cast speed wont help if skills are on cooldown.

In theory there is :
3c) 6 Golems, if you take the Elementalist node from scion ascendancy tree (1x extra golem) and use 2x Clayshapers. However I have not found any use for that version yet.

I have done lots of tested with Necro / ele and mixing different golems to increase DPS with Path of Building. So far I have only found that :
- Necro ascendancy nodes give about 20% total damage increase to golems
- Elementalist ascendancy nodes give about 20% total damage increase to golems (4+1 Golems = 20% increase in total DPS.)

Mixing different golems increased golem damage, but makes less golems be useful in battle. 4x Same type and charges from Victarios seem to be the best combination as charges boost Golems damage as much as adding extra golem from Clayshaper and Golems behave better with charges on.

Lets say with elementalist classic 4+1+1 mix you will have 4x Golems with lots of increased damage, 2x useless Golems, no protection for them and they will cast at slow speed with no frenzy charges.You will end with almost same damage as Necro with 4x + shield and trade lots of useful ascendancy nodes for useless ones.

As said, don't buy Anima Stone but rather 1x of each other cheaper primordial stones and them combine them together at vendor for Anima Stone.

The Primordial Might prices have been slowly racing 40c -> 70-80 c, but that has been chaos : 1 ex price the same time so can't say that there has been huge increase in prices.

1 )

Skin of the loyal +1 level is needed for the level 28 Golems :
- Golem gem level 21 (21)
- Skin of the Loyal +1 (22)
- Skin of the Loyal (corrupted) +1 (23)
- Empower 4 (26)
- Skin of the Loyal +1 for empower (27)
- Skin of the Loyal (corrupted) +1 for empower(28)

The level 28 is exremely hard to reac, and is only for min-maxing. Even level 25-26 Flame Golems in normal Sotl can do all endgame content with no problems. Each extra level gives Golems about 10% more damage and HP, so the higher they go the more damage they will deal and in the end be near immortal.

2)

Once the Animate Guardian is high level one, it will be extremely hard to lose it. My AG can take Shaper laser and recent change to minion life gem (increased -> more) made AG real tank.

However if you want to change AG. I recommend using Bones of Ulr boots with Raise Specter -> Minion Damage -> Elemental Focus -> increased Burning Damage and using Tukohama Vanguard Specters. This will hugely increase your single target DPS.

Using Flammability is not optimal as it gives only small benefits against bosses and cant really be scaled with quality (enhance). Using Specs gives you much more damage than extra curse would and you don't have to worry about AG gear.

AG = extra defense + utility + damage
Specters = tons of extra damage

3)

You can check my 75/75% block variant tree that uses dual curses under "FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS -> 75%/75% MAX BLOCK, DUAL CURSE VARIANT". Best secondary curses that scale with quality (enhance) are :
- Elemental Weakness (Lots of damage)
- Projectile Weakness (Lots of damage+ Knockback for defense)
- Enfeeble (Extra defense)

I would never ever recommend dropping Temporal Chains with enhance from the build. It's literally most OP defense in game and can't be replaced by other defenses.

I'm using Curse on Hit Elemental Weakness (both 20/20) in self-cast Ball Lightning. Seems easy enough to use against bosses, and trash doesn't really require extra damage curses. I'm still using Animate Guardian for slowing enemies, creating consecrated ground and as an additional target. Recommended AG gear is affordable apart from the corrupted gloves, if you have currency to run this build losing the cheap stuff shouldn't be a problem.
