No onslaught from Bane of legends

Sometimes I don't get Onslaught from killing rare enemies. Noticed it because I use Inspired Learning which have exact same duration. On screenshot below you can see that there is a mod from killed rare but no onslaught.



Also, IL description is incorrect: that should me "mod", not "mods". And it isn't "headhunter" either :)
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

Nothing on items, no silver flasks, I don't use Innervate, and the only 2 tree nodes that give onslaught chance aren't allocated.

The only thing I can think is that this is the same as the quartz infusion issue. If you look at your character sheet, the stats affected by Onslaught should reflect that you have Onslaught when you should, even if there is no visual icon/indicator.

As far as I understand, no, because this is not a “during” or “while” stat; it has its own duration. Also OP said “sometimes”, so they presumably do get it other times.
Oh, actually... You have a Totem, which also has urCulling. It's stealing your kills.

Melvar is correct; the Onslaught is a Buff proper.
But he’s getting the Inspired Learning effect, which the wiki states does not occur on totem kills. Is the wiki wrong?

Well I definitely get both IL effect and OS most of the time, but in some rare cases(which I can't determine exact defining characteristics of) it happens what it happens on that screenshot, namely only IL effects without onslaught.

Headhunter was changed to trigger off all kills, if memory serves (intentionally the only exception). Can you let a couple Rares die to just the Totem, see if that's the cause?

Well damn, that IS the cause - IL does trigger on totem kills, but BoL doesn't. Don't know about golem because its damage is pathetic on my char, but totem kills definitely don't grant onslaught. With that discovered, I'm starting to wonder if my totem also doesn't have 20% cull...
