Boss "Difficulty" Ranking List?
" I fought against Uber Izaro for 10 minutes, just to die when his hp was like 15% left (I have culling strike). His dps and hp is insane. I had 5l Arc which is perfectly fine on all other bosses I fought up to t12 or shaped t15. I even completed Oba and Death and Taxes, so don't tell me Arc is bad for bosses, it's not. Well, we're probably talking baseline difficulty here, not maps rolled with suicide mods or full conduit + fonts uber izzy, he's facetanked when vanilla with a decently sturdy build and well telegraphed so you don't even have to.

At a minimum, the boss difficulty should be grouped ranged and melee. The fights are pretty different.

" I don't think it's important. All bosses are more difficult to deal in melee, or same. It's more build-dependent/defence type-dependent. But we could talk about boss difficulty in average, for most common builds. About UberIzaro/Goddess. I just did UberIzaro to refresh his fight in memory, and did Goddess before. They are should be on same level of HP, damage output should be also pretty similar. Izaro is more agile in his fight, but Goddess has green ray of death. And it seems like Izaro has bigger AoE from green bubbles. Overall I think Izaro fight is tougher, due to having only one attempt and more unpredictable traps. Bigger arena doesn't make it much easier. Even with all these circimstances Uber Izaro is definitely easier then normal Atziri. He gives you much more time to react to his actions, arena is bigger, and his hp are lower. | |
An obvious comment that needs to be repeated time and time again.
The most important thing for most of the hardest content is how well telegraphed are the various boss attacks and how cluttered the terrain becomes. These facts strongly affect relative level of difficulty if you are melee/ranged/dot etc. For example. my relatively small personal experience through cyclone is that I absolutely hate clutter. |

I dont really see how pale court is making any 'difficult' lists. its same fight that doesnt have extra mods on top, *ever*. its a fairly easy mechanical fight.
compare it to something like plaza -max res, double boss, boss life, boss damage, enfeeble, no regen thats a near guaranteed rip if you dont burst them down asap or have tons of move speed and amazing reflexes to get behind pillars also sulphur wastes and overgrown ruin should be on the list. if you dont have great dps those exiles can fuck you up. shrine piety is only ever difficult if there are super crazy mods. and she has little hp. shouldnt be on the list imo. vault boss is piss easy Id also put vaal temple above uber atziri, but I guess thats preference and depends on the build(s). normal atziri is too high. she croaks over once you pass a dps treshold effortlessly. again, no extra mods make the fight predictable enough. t15 bosses have more difficulty |

I'm really surprised shaper is the hardest, I always thought uber atz was the hardest. I've easily beaten shaper on many builds but only 1x have I killed uber. I can't say she herself I guess is the hardest, but the sheer combo of her entire place is. Even the trash mobs in her place are insane for a lot of builds, never mind the 2 roadblock bosses before you even square off with her.
