Well my previous build was a dual claw shadow build crit/frenzy frost blade and with nodes claws it was easy to have max frenzy charges when in pack

One of the biggest issues you have with frost blades is it's not very atziri friendly and a lot of people rate builds on their ability to do that boss fight.

Reason frost blades is pretty poor vs atziri is because in the reflect phases of the fights if you attack in a slightly wrong position it's very easy to chain / pierce into the reflect totem. Basically you either need a different single target set up for that part or you have to heavily gimp your dps and projectile speed.

By default it is like other projectiles a chance to pierce, fork and chain

also for frost blades initial hit on target have similar than fork ( release projectiles when hit ) but it is not a fork because initial hit is a melee hit not projectile, you can link frost blades with one of these support gems : pierce, fork, chain , pierce is the best for bonus damage .
After on skill tree you have node to increase chance of pierce

Yes i think it will be fine , i thinking about Frost blades when seen a live stream ( in my native language ) about prophecy yesterday and i was not alone .

But for chain with this claw i don't really understand how it works, need support gem chain linked ?

Do you think the "not always freeze" can be bypassed using Pyre and Three Dragon to shock instead of freeze?
