Should multistrike be green gem ?

It's obviously more melee attack speed, and melee is associated with strength and not dexterity.

Faster attacks is green because it applies to ranged attack also.

Not all characters are Ranged, based on dexterity, some of them are pure melee.

Again that is because dexterity is more associated with ranged attacks than with melee attacks. As such rolling colors for melee only supports is harder because it's a secondary playstyle for evasion and primary playstyle for armor.

The game is based around this fact.

Again, if you know good game you should know that not all characters are ranged , I play only dex melee character.
See wiki if you don't know about what I have write, and I think you are narrowed player :(
edit: but in silence I little agree with you that, mostly green force is assigned to Ranger, maybe it's correct, I don't know now.

I like to see it like Spell Echo for Blue Gems,Multistrike for Red Gems and LMP/GMP is the Green Gem in this situation.

I played dex melee characters also, but the point stays that projectiles are more associated with green/dexteriy and melee is more associated with red/strength. It has nothing to do with what I play or what you play, it's how the game is made.

You don't see me complaining about trying to roll green sockets on Lioneye's Vision with a Iron Grip character for example.

You can make a melee dexterity character without any problems, just use a hybrid chest piece (armor/evasion), lose some evasion (good Triumphant Lamelars should still be able to roll 1.2-1.4k evasion without problems) but get easy access to red sockets.

Most Melee Skills are red and it is a melee support. If you need a green one, it is faster attacks. If you need a multiplier it is hypothermia. Also Multistrike is actually Strength/Dex and not a pure Strength skill which fits it pretty well.

Not all strength-based characters are melee, some of them are pure bow users. Or casters. Just what happens. Also, it is not that hard to get a few red gems in a green armour.

Or, you know, you could use a 2h str-based weapon and color that one. Or use a str/dex armour.
Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.
