Rare Amulets? Bad Luck?

So I wanna know if they changed something with the drop rate of rare amulets or if I'm just insanely unlucky. I just came back from a 2ish month break from PoE and leveled my torment character from 40 to 70. All the way from 50 to 70 I have not found a single rare amulet. I'm not even lying I've been trying to save up for the chaos recipe and I have plenty of rings, plenty of belts, and everything else but I can not for my life get a rare amulet to drop. I have had over 40 rare rings drop and not a single rare amulet. I'm just really puzzled by this atm as you can imagine.

Random is Random.
Ammys are always harder to find in my experience than rings or belts.

Lol, i thought i was the only one with 20-30 rings and 0 ammy for chaos recipe :))
I prefer unid recipe so alching is not an option. Probably just bad luck last few weeks :)

As far as I can tell, over a larger sample the things you'll be mostly starved for in chaos/regal recipes are rings>amulets>>belts>>gauntlets>everything else. Over a smaller sample, you could be starved for rings or amulets or belts; it's perfectly normal, random fluctuations.

Later on, killing rogue exiles helps a lot, since they always drop at least one amulet and two rings, and they have enough IR bonus that they are often yellow.

amulets are definitely the rarest, I seem to remember a while back when belts and amulets seemed to have the same drop rate, as in belts seemed to drop way less. It feels like they increased the belt drop rate and left amulets about the same to me

at this very moment I have 10 sets of belts and rings but only 2 amulets =(

I have done a few thousand hours in poe and for me it is the same:
RARE--- rings>amulets>>belts>>gauntlets>everything else ---COMMON

Yes, that is the reason why I often need more rings while I have more than enough amulets. So maybe you are right and rings drop a little better than amulets. But in the end for me it's always the rings I'm in need of.

I find that amulets are by far the piece that holds me back. Currently have close to 100 excess rare unid rings and I sell a lot of belts cause they are easy, those damn amulets though.
