Do you like the Rampage league design?

EDIT:
Sorry everybody, I misread the news announcement. I was under the impression the Rampage was the hardcore league!

What a stupid mistake, I will now go away and sit in a dark corner...

I've removed the poll, but the new softcore league can still be discussed if course if you like.

Built entirely around the notion of maintaining a kill-streak Rampage League players will grow faster in attacks, faster in movement, and stronger as they keep their Rampage alive. You'll have 5 seconds between kills to keep it going, and as you hit the many tiers of Rampage, different effects can be triggered. One that Chris mentioned were Novas: these can stun all enemies, explode all enemies, or even summon spirit weapons to defend you. But one o Chris' favorites is the Cyclone at kill-streak 325. If you manage to keep the streak alive for that many enemies, all nearby corpses will explode, creating a cacophony of gore that's just a sight to behold.
It's also worth noting that there will be no penalty to loot in this mode, so just because you're killing faster and killing more enemies, doesn't mean GGG will cut down your item drops. In fact, it stands to reason you'll get even more loot for keeping your Rampage alive as long as possible. Chris mentioned that as always, these Challenge leagues are a way to test ideas that could potentially be permanently added to the game later. And considering how fun Rampage has proven internally, I'd be willing to bet that it sticks around long after its time has come and gone.

Answer C: How do you know you dislike it if you haven't even tried it.

FYI: If it takes longer than seeing an item drop for you to decide whether you want to pick it up or not (hint: prior to level 50 you probably don't) you're taking too long.

You don't, the question is not if you're enjoying it but if you like the concept that is explained and if you likely will or will not play it

Don't see why? We got the basic concept so we can discuss that in my opinion.
You can;t decide whether you'll like something ahead of time. That's a lesson I learned (multiple times) trying to figure out my playstyle in games as a whole.

You can;t look at an abstract design (true with some numbers but they might not even make it to live unchanged) and decide "Man this is gonna undermine the core play pattern I like". It's not like items have a timer, and most of the time you aren't going to be looking at drops because drops in this game simply aren't worth slowing down for most of the time.

edit: Honestly if I was working on Rampage I'd have taken the greater rift route that D3 uses and during the buildup for the rampage no items would drop, and then at the end there would be a large explosion of items.

Did they ever change it so that more loot drops? I found it funny that you got less than you would have gotten normally.

Besides, OP called it right. It's supposed to push HC players to move faster than they normally would have. Risk v reward.
I'm going to wait and see till I've played it, I think this will be like ambush, Sound pretty meh but be really fun to play when you actually get to it, can you imagine doing weaver with all the kill streaks from the adss?
Man, I hated that nephalem valor thing in D3. I'll be playing in whichever league that has less of something similar to that :D
to be perfectly honest , no i dont like rampage, not at all. I detest the idea of having a mechanic dictating how i play in such a manner.

ill probably still give it a shot , but i do wish ggg would avoid gamemodes outside of races that have these mechanics that heavily influence the pace of game-play.
