How many active players play Poe on EU

No way there are 1,6 mil active players. Maybe 1,6 mil accounts created. 80 % by botters or people who dont buy tabs and using diff accounts to store items.... or multiboxing.
I remember a few months ago someone asked GGG to post some numbers regarding this. A lot of people argued because Chris posted some unbelievable numbers. Then someone found a proof and even Chris confirmed that there is no more than 50k online players at the same time ( peek hours ). They have a lot more different accounts logging in daily yes, but that means nothing. You can have multiple accounts no problem right ? The people you are refering to are the ones who will try the game and leave in a week or a month. Same like when the game was released on Steam with nice big advertisement PLAY FOR FREE... game was flooded with newbies, population was growing and what happened after a month ? two ? Game was back to normal. And sorry, but if someone cant fix desynch after 2 years which caused the most new players to leave, then I have nothing more to say really. When chris quoted those figures was near beginning of league, the amount of accounts created is far beyond 1.6mill. 50k players online at any given time is a completely different thing to 1.6 million active users total, has nothing to do with bots or multiboxing etc its to do with the fact the entire active player base are not all online playing the game 24 hours every single day of the week. Im glad you have nothing more to say, you are obviously upset at the game and looking to see things in a negative light to justify your emotional state, its not healthy for you or the forum. If you dont play any more then go find something else in your life you can feel positive about. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

Well, the game is bottoming out. It'll stay consistent at around 2K people playing. Half of those being bots/traders, another half being people with below average machines that can't group, another few % that are very casual and don't like grouping for hours and maybe another half that is in a different act.
Eventually we'll have like 3-4 groups still doing maps with a need for extra stash tabs. That's it. Let's hope those 200 people have deep pockets :) Vote +1 to change Path of Exile to Path of Nerfs.
