There used to be a /command to show how many players online back in closed beta, I presume it was removed on open beta :)

Thats an average of 4k concurrently last month.


Some people here will say that Steamcharts doesnt count ..but guess what ..its much MUCH easier to find PoE on Steam then typing randomly Path of Exile on Google.

i would guess 3000 players every day . I m eu and i can not ever find ppl in standard only ppl i see are in races in races around 1000ppl

Population is not growing anymore, it's not what it used to be.
When I used to play PoE I never really cared about numbers because this was a singleplayer game for me like Titan Quest and Diablo 2.

there is no EU, the game is global regardless of which gateway you log in through.

Last time Chris posted figures that I saw he was mentioning how many active forum members there were and what % of the total active playerbase it represented, and the maths worked out at a little over 1.6 million active players.

Right now is when you would expect to see a minimum amount of people online as we are close to the big merge and the start of the next temp league, most people who feel like they need a week or twos break at some point in the next 4 months are doing it now. Most people I know have shut down till the next leagues, a lot of them have gone to play wildstar for a month or two until then.


I dunno where you get the idea the population isnt growing any more, every single day theres mountains of people in global and in stream chats who have literally just started playing.
