How to reduce Desync (for new players)
" this is not bullshit, desync is different from lag, but is heavly influenced by it, I can say the duration of desync is directly proportional to lag. Just read the GGG thread: how works sync and you understand. " It's a mechanic in the game to make sure that your client get's resynced in dangerous situation and well, a stun normally indicates such a situation. This is on top of the regular client synchronization, I think. As far as I remember it was added in beta. Unfortunately it doesn't help with completely lost connections. But nothing does.
