How to reduce Desync (for new players)
1) use unweavering stance (or item with cannot be stunned)
2) use an anti freeze item 3) rising life and defences reduce stun, freeze, chill and so desync 4) don't use cyclone or party with cycloners 5) use shift + attack with certain skills 6) jump with leap slam or lightning warp can resync 7) someone uses /oos macro to resync 8) reduce latency when possible 9) reduce graphics (can helps but not correlated) 10) find a build or a gamestyle that suffer desync less add others if you know : ) See You IGN: SeaLaser

Pause frequently after combat. Let the game resync before going on to the next batch of monsters. This causes timers to expire, so until you understand desych better, stay away from builds that rely on charges.

Also I find these to completely get rid of lag or "desync"
1.) Play on Ethernet Plugged into computer, NOT WIFI. 2.) Don't download torrents or listen to YouTube in the background. (in fact close all other programs that might use your internet java update/chrome update etc.) 3.) ctrl + alt + del TASK MANAGER and close Windows Search and that Cloud Storage shit. 4.) Update Windows and defrag after that. (make sure to set windows update to MANUAL and not AUTO, windows will download files automatically and cause you to lag in the worst spots if on auto) 5.) Don't use whirling blades or leap slam more than 3 times in a row if you have a lot of faster attack speed. aps If you stand next to a double boss Corpse-Explosion, you're gonna have a bad time. " shift+cyclone desyncs a lot less than normal cyclone. Also bigger aoe, higher attack speed and resolute technique make desync a lot less visible/annoying. Dernière édition par otinanai2#4995, le 6 mai 2014 à 15:06:17

- Try a VPN
- Verify your internet connection and equipment is actually up-to-par (if you have connection issues elsewhere, call your ISP; also don't expect miracles on satellite or mobile internet). Should also verify you have updated (or even alternate) firmware on your router if applicable, and make sure to be using optimal settings (don't use Channel 6 on 2.4GHz if your 20 neighbors are also using that same channel, don't use Power-over-ethernet and expect miracles in an electronically-noisy household, etc). - Don't download in the background if your connection can't handle it (seriously, don't download torrents while playing on dial-up or something and then complain about how desync-ridden PoE is) - Verify your computer is up-to-par (using outdated ethernet/wireless drivers is a good way to run into issues, along with placebo internet speedup garbage). Should also avoid mucking with settings you have no idea about too (like enabling/disabling Chimney Offload, RCN, etc) All that alone should help and/or isolate any problems in your connection. I know desync exists to an extent, but I've never seen it as badly as most people seem to claim. I actually keep my connection and computer well maintained though... " 7 doesn't reduce desync at all. It'll put you back in-sync, but not reduce how frequently desyncs occur. 9 has nothing at all to do with desync (unless PoE's sync relies on framerate for some strange reason). " 1 should only be a concern if you actually have connection issues between your computer and the router itself. I've played without any major desync issues with my 5GHz-compliant laptop and $200 Linksys router, but I can understand if someone with outdated wireless drivers and a cheap router experiences problems. Don't fight at doorways.
Always shift-attack/curse monsters that just came through a doorway. Don't use movement skills excessively unless you're willing to get stuck and die. IGN: NNQQ, Sporkay, Rands_

" Still this bullshit. I have 30 ms and still desync. Desync has nothing to do with latency. Lag and desync are two different things. |
