BAN accounts doesn't help.
Creat an unique ID using:
- CPU serial
- GFX serial
- BIOS serial
- network adapter NIC (not IP!!)
- windows serial number
a) put ANY of this serials on a "suspect" list
b) ban the HASH of this combination
c) if one of the "suspect" numbers appears several times BAN it
BAN a account is useless if the BOT/RMT guys just need a new fake e-mail.
BAN the hardware they use will hurt them!

Seeing you add nothing new, I will renew my suggestion and reason behind and will leave this thread.
I suggest all orbs be made no-trade with improved drop rates, and good vendor recipes for conversion. Also adjusting drops so that items drop for relevant lvl content: low lvls get lvling uniques, high lvl chars dont get junk.
1. It will finally bring a real Barter Based Economy
2. Craft will be for everyone, in line with on how much they play the game and kill stuff.
3. Wealth wont be measured by orbs. Flipping will be harder. Botting will be pointless and easier to fight.
4. No currency = no need for sink -> maps can be freed from duty of currency sink and be adjusted. Instead of content being gated behind trade, it will be gated behind "can you handle it?!"

instead of removing item quantity from the game make all items account bound for item quantity. this will put a screeching halt to rmt in the worst sense they could ever think could be possible. removing quantity from trade is the biggest kik in the balls they could ever get. im sure the community could understand this one exception for account bound items.
as long as it didnt lead to any other account bound items. i would accept it for the good of the community. whether ggg has the cahones to impliment this is yet to be determined. we will see. ^^
the orbs arent the problem its item quantity...which is why it is going under review next big patch.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
Too bad it'll never happen since this game isn't catered towards people who aren't hardcore enough to wear nappies during their 16 hour a day grinding sessions.
You know, normal people without obvious mental breakdowns.
Vote +1 to change Path of Exile to Path of Nerfs.
We hate to say, but ProjectPT was right.

1. PoE was supposed to have Barter Economy: item vs item
What we have is item vs currency. Not different from AH expect for being damn so inconvenient to buy/sell.
2. Orb drop rates has to be low to balance the amount of orbs enter the economy -> lower drop rates on *craft orbs*
3. Wealth is measured by orbs as well. Orbs are farmed poorly, but gained easier by flipping -> reward fail for actually playing game
1 + 2 + 3 = make orbs no-trade with higher drops
so these above points turn into:
1. PoE DOES have Barter Economy: item vs item
2. *Craft orb* rates are not pathetic for people who play the game by killing monsters. Everyone gets a shot at crafting in line with how much they play the game killing stuff.
3. Wealth is measured by the items you have. #2 already opened crafting venue for that. #1 makes it harder to profit flipping. Playing the game becomes on par or better than flipping hopefully.
But best solution is on the way. Just we have to wait a bit
Grim Dawn Act 2 is out today. But in total its still quite an end away from being finished.

How is Grim Dawn a solution? It will be like Torchlight 2 where modders can create their own gear.

Not that I see anything wrong with modders and such but I ask the same thing: How is Grim Dawn a solution to the problems within PoE?
I will most likely try that game as well but the question remains, what the hell does Grim Dawn have to do with PoE?

Ya i just heard that there is no persistent online server for Grim Dawn... are they really that moron? thats exactly what killed Torchlight, atleast kept it from being a Worthy D2 successor title
ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it
