Merveil's Lair Not Giving Reward

After completing the quest, I was told to see Nessi for a reward. According to this -
http://blackrabbit2999.blogspot.com/2012/07/path-of-exile-quest-gem-reward-list.html I should have been able to get a gem, but there were no gems to be found after the quest, she just congratulated me. " Same problem here and I'd like to add that my game crashed with some kind of exception after trying to use the way point in Act2 to reach Nessa. It crashes every other time I try to use waypoints for some reason. |

also had the same problem, killed the act 1 endboss on normal for first time and didnt get promised reward from nessa

Also had this problem. Killed Merveil with my team, got the quest completed notification, and went straight back to Nissa. She talked and talked about it, and when she finished, nothing happened. No reward screen, no gem selection menu like the other quest rewards, no new items in my stash or inventory. Didn't even get a skill point for it. >:(

You no longer get a reward for killing merveil, only upon entering her lair

I didn't get a reward for either entering her lair or killing her.

Nessa gives you your first Support Gem as a quest reward for entering Merveil's lair.
The quest text for killing Merveil mentions a quest reward, and is referring to the aforementioned; it hasn't actually updated yet at that point (note how it says you still have to kill Merveil). It updates the moment you walk into A2. |

After killing Merveil on Cruel just recently, I returned to Nessa for my reward. Nothing happened, and the quest updated. She did not offer me a choice of gems this time around.

" "Your Nessa is in another castle." I really wish I could confirm this for you right away but... I got the quest done on Normal and Cruel without noticing anything odd.
