Yeah, most cosplay I've seen focuses entirely on the outfit itself and ignores the setting.

I make everything, the sword is a wood base and all the details are made from craft foam. It took about a week to make it, I think I have some progress pictures somewhere.
Wow, I love the pics, but making that stuff with all that attention to detail, I'm far more impressed with that. The costumes are really amazing. Thanks for sharing.

I have seen cosplay people making stuff themselves which is incredible considering it looks so good. Some stuff they buy.
