[OSX] Unofficial Path of Exile port - 30/12/2018 status update

OSX version: 10.10.3
RAM: 4 gb
GPU: Intel HD 5000 1536 MB

PoE don't see my normal GPU and using intel(R) 945G

One more problem
I changed directx and now PoE is crushing

I am still unable to get past the "received a packet too large to deserialize". I have replaced the Content.ggpk with the new one but I still get the error, any ideas?

Nevermind, my issue was one you all are unlikely to face. I had another Path of Exile app in the trash folder and that was messing with it.

Ok. I tried it twice (removing all files and download anew), it still doesn't work.

Configuration:
OSX 10.12.6 (16G29)
GPU Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB
RAM 16 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
Wrapper Wineskin 2.6.1

Fresh installation of the launcher shows me "Received a packet that is too large to deserialize"

Any ideas how can I fix this?

UPD: Ok, following the logs I see I need to install samba... however I have no idea how to install it since homebrew has no samba now

Can somebody tell me what should i do to fix lags? I already have WS9WineCX 15.0.1 and it doesnt works

Hi Guys
Im new to the Poe world, and im a huge fan already. Just have one major problem, i wont run on my mac.

I can get it up and running, but i lags, and crashes at random points.. :(

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013)
2 GHz Intel Core i7
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

I dont know what to do, since i can run diablo without any problems :/

This issue seems to have resolved itself. However I have a new issue. It says that I have received a packet that is too large to deserialise. Any ideas folks?

This was solved about 2/3 pages ago.

1. Download and open this torrent via a bittorrent client (µtorrent, vuze, etc..): https://www.pathofexile.com/public/PoE-3.0.0-preseed.torrent
2. Replace the ~16MB Content.ggpk with your downloaded 7/8GB Content.ggpk (PathOfExile.app right-click -> show package contents -> drive_c/Program Files/GGG/PoE/

I have one more question for you. how to tune the performance in wine for POE. the fps is very low when casting. my video card is GT 750M

This video helped me get almost-playable fps (15-30) on my macbook pro 15" (late 2013). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxYXXoCKt-s

It also solved an out of video memory crash for me.
