HC: How have you died and what did you learn?

Lvl 84 Sporklar Was feeling like a boss because I just got my ES to 4500 with 3k something life and 30% dmg reduction without my granites up. Decided to give a pretty easy Ghetto map a breeze through. got to Perpetus, face tanked him, cause you know I'm a boss now, and BOOM two shot. Crit EK crit Bear trap. Not even really for sure if boss attacks can crit but it felt like it =D. I find it great though, I started my life in the Hood and I died in the Ghetto. What did I learn? my lvl 57 marummoner (I make mostly summoners to deal with desync/lag) was very OP and I had was helping someone through normal piety and I had taken all my life flasks off and put 3 quicksilver, 1 hybrid and 1 mana pot... then I said i'd run norm vaal since my IIQ/IIR was really high to help him, not realizing I was still on cruel... I got all the way to vaal and right before the final step I saw a room with elites that were just too tempting to just kill really fast...so I had no army and just ran in to do a quick 1 shot cleave that should have wiped out the room but turned into a couple seconds of panic setting in before a quick and timely death
lesson: quit smoking so much and pay the F attention! |
