Holy Freeze Merc (although most people use Death's Sash)
Slow Missile Charges

Anyway, I can't think of any 'troll' builds beyond ice wall... hmm..

In Diablo II version 1.09 I had a Paladin on Hardcore mode.

He primarily leveled up just by leeching off other players, so I managed to invest in maxed Thorns and maxed Conversion. I had 10 offensive aura grand charms and tons of other +skills items.

My strategy was to convert a monster and give it Thorns aura. What I learned is that turned out to be pretty ineffective at killing monsters. It wasn't bad but it wasn't fast.

Where it really shined was in the secret cow level with as many other players as possible. Now, the first time this happened was on accident, then I realized its true power and went on a total destructive rampage.

So basically, I would smack a few cows with conversion, switch to Thorns Aura, then since cows had so much HP they would eventually convert back before they died and give Thorns to all the other cows for a few seconds until the aura wore off.

This was just enough time for nearby players in the party who were attacking the cows to get completely wrecked by the Thorns damage. Pretty much anyone who was susceptible to Thorns died in one attack.

My Paladin never did die, but I retired him eventually because PKing got old after a while (plus it's kinda mean), but it was fun while it lasted.

The lesson is that if they didn't want you to do it, they wouldn't put it in the game. Can't wait to see some great troll builds in Path of Exile!
