skill gems

hi, i would like to ask if theres an option to buy skill gem from vendor or not, i havent encountered one that would sell those so maybe not... so is quest rewards and finding it as a loot only ways of obtaining them?
i would like to try out ice spear and i think it dropped or i got it somehow and than traded and dont know how to get my hands on another. any ideas how i might get concrete skill gem? just wat till it drops or is there any other way?

check poe wiki for rewards and farm the skillgems you need

to answer your question you cant buy skillgems from vendors

ice spaer should take 5min to farm if i remeber correctly its the break eggs rewards for witches

now i see its a reward for the quest you mentioned. thing is i already did that quest. can i do it again somehow... without losing current progress?

you can't buy gems from vendors, but there are some very useful recipes for selling skill gems you don't need: here.

these are very useful in early game, but take care not to accidentally sell good level and/or good quality ones.

I am sure you could trade for the skill gems on the trade chat.

Majority of players will ask for 4 Jewellers or 1 Alchemy each.

I would happily trade most of them @ 2 Jewellers each or even give away for free.

well my Anarchy Duelist has yet to find one, but I'll be on the lookout :)

in any case, you can always buy one via trade like Missmisiowa said. but take care and never pay more than a maximum of 1 Orb Of Alchemy for a non-quality level 1 gem.
too many people will try to scam you. or "flip profit" like it's called now days.
