Wrong.

You don’t get to make factually incorrect claims in order to form an argument.

Not wrong. In some [distant] future you will find out that the difference between the latest 0.X.0 (EA) and 1.0.0 (so called "full release") will be the same as between any previous 0.X.0s. Which practically means that the full release happened with 0.1.0 back in 2024.

POE2 follows exactly same model of development as POE1. The difference is that back then no one tried to hide all flaws and unreleased stuff behind misleading "EA" label.

Real EA is when only a small portion of the game is released for some period of time, people playtest it a lot, changes happen a lot as they do, wipes happen often as they do, and then full release follows - hugely different from EA both in quality and quantity of material. This is something that will never happen with POE2. So all "wait guys, this is just an early access, full release will be different" is nothing more than wishful thinking.

Early access is ok to discover

Except that in practice POE2 is not in Early Access but in full release already since 0.1.0.

The game is in Early Access, whilst that doesn’t excuse anything it most certainly should be enough for you to understand issues will arise.

False, you don't get to make factually incorrect claims in order to try and further GGG's marketing plan.

I paid for this game a year ago, money = a product, not a test.

Jokes aside...paying for access on top of all the season supporter packs and other mtx to buy...def not EA regardless of a title they use.

The problem with this comment is that the entire dev team are behaving and treating the game like it's a full release game. Nothing that they have done or are doing suggests any sort of 'early access' behaviour outside of the sheer incompetence shown with how badly optimised the game is, how utterly moronic the backend server instability is, and just how often they break things when pushing updates.

the game has a fully functional and fully stocked in game shop, and has done since day 1, almost every single early access game I have ever played has had their in game shop be one of the last things that's added and is certainly not fully functional, so can we stop pretending like this game is some indie game that needs early access to develop the game, they clearly have the funding from netease to develop the game, and the early access p
The early access is an excuse used to brush off constant issues with the game and the connection. Thought it was pretty obvious. They can also charge for early access, but the full game would be free, meaning that they'd earn more if it keep it "early access" for longer.
agree, they just traded 1 crash/hour for 5 cogs/hour instead.

i'd rather just crash, this feels awful.

At least ya all can log in, Radeon GPU, game stalls at Load Screen. I get to spend my Game Time scrolling thru Game Tips and never get to actually play the game. And this isn't the first time, but Last Time at least there was a pop up message on the Loading Screen telling me I had to roll back my Driver to and Older Version. This is CRAP GGG. Pure CRAP. If your PATCH Breaks the Game for some of your player base, why are you publishing it?
At this point I believe they are just trying to perform the Star Citizen pricing model. I remember when EA's were just days now approaching years...

You are remembering something that never actually existed then. EA has ALWAYS been a FUNDING model for games in TESTING phases, normally Beta but sometimes Alpha or even earlier. A few big studio's may have, occasionally, misused the term to mean pre-sale but that is not what the industry's standard definition of EA means.

Minecraft was the first major success story of Early Access funding model, releasing in an early ALPHA state in 2009. Value launched the Early Access program (which is where we get the name from) in 2013.
