headhunter teleporting

this has been brought up for MONTHS, and zero response from GGG.


The headhunter trait wjhere you teleport to the nearest enemy is the most bullshit, unforgiving, and unfun mechanic in the entire game. The amount of times I'm going through pinnacle bosses or high difficulty abyss' and pray to myself "please don't teleport Ill die" is way too common, over 50% of the time I'm playing.

It's an incredibly unfun gameplay loop, and the only solution is to leave my maps and come back in every time I get it. Please GGG, listen to your community, we've been begging.

so you want OP buffs but dont want consequences. everything has 2 sides mate
It's not a buff or a nerf, it's a mechanic of a 40d meta item. It's technically supposed to be a good thing on paper, but in practice it's one of the worst mechanics in the game.
you dont need to leave the map. just take off the HH and put it back.

the problem is that almost all rares have that mod. sometimes i have to unequip and re-equip my HH 5 times per map. its super annoying. i'm sure they purposely make almost all rares have the teleport mod . there is now way that mod is naturally that common

It's GGGs way of balancing Headhunter unfortunately. If they would change that mod, they would severely limit HH either with a cap on buffs or way less duration.

There is more of that. With Fireflower Amulet and rework of how Ignite works, I can map fine for like 5 maps to insta kill myself on pack of mobs. Peak design.

why is it like pulling teeth to have these people atleast communicate these kind of things with us?

+1 it have to be adjusted - teleporting 5 time in a 3 sec is an epeleptical threat
Funny part is you will get the teleport buff even from elites that dont have the teleport buff. Tested it for hours on elites with and without the teleport buff on them and 90% of the time you get the buff if its there or not.

Epic design flaw the teleport buff should never be granted as one of the HH buffs period GGG needs to remove the toxic shit from the game.
