so they reverted the temple change huh

its a shame people cant make that much noise about other issues also because GGG clearly gives into pressure and gives into people if enough people want something. exploiters would be banned if that much pressure was applied. balance changes would be made if that much pressure was applied. but people can only make that much noise when they want their currency printer back.

this is why nothing significant will ever change in this game. GGG only does changes when enough pressure is applied and people cant be bothered to do it unless its about their currency printer.

:( Meanwhile I'm still asking for a small change to skittering stones II. sigh.
I think you misunderstand why they reverted this change, but did nothing serious about the Holten strat except hard stopping it.

The Holten strat destroyed the economy, no two ways about it. It put probably thousands of Divs into the pool over a month ahead of when they normally would have been, because the temple was never meant to be set up within an hour. But it WAS meant to be set up, and the div printing still would have happened.

The Medallion change on the other hand, actively STOPPED people from building a new temple (like if they started a second character) while doing nothing to hinder those with fully built temples. Basically, whoever decided to do the Medallion change initially messed up massively, and I hope GGG learns from this mistake. But comparing the two situations is like comparing apples to rocks. they are not even in the same category of issue.

yeah people have been asking for changes about many things for over a year now. good luck getting them. they only do things when enough people apply pressure

no. they reverted it because so many people raged. thats it. its that simple. they didnt want to do it but they had to. that hotfix thread is 361 pages long of pure rage. its the biggest thread ever in that section. people even started to leave negative steam reviews. GGG just gave into pressure.

why cant people make this much noise about other things? this game could be such a good game but it will probably never will be because people dont care enough to make a stand when they dont like something

That’s why people should be raging in the patch note thread, they can’t delete the thread can they?
Exploit early exploit often bozos.

i would prefer that ggg double down and completely remove medallion lock in the temple.

let room be subjected to risk of destabilisation.

Wow, sudden empathy breach in GGG. Now we know amount of comments needed to stimulate neural activity there:) I wish they listened when Standard players always got the worst from many balance changes starting from div-ex swap, and not pretended to be deaf.

Edit: as for the temple, problem is busted loot generation and rarity stacking, not amount of rooms themselves. No content should be much more rewarding than all other content. There is also supposed performance impact stated in previous hotfix, but guess it wasn't so drastic if GGG restored ability to make huge temples.

it reminds me of when a parent takes away a child's toy and then gives it back 2 days later because the child cried for 2 days. too funny
