GGG arrogance is killing both games

The thing about the movement speed issue’s a bit more complicated.
Monsters movement speed has to be balanced around so players can’t just stack movement speed and outrun everything and be near untouchable. If they buff player movement speed, they’d have to buff monster speed as well. Human eyes can only process so much before things become a disorienting blur.
That’s why I’m against the zoom and boom gameplay poe1 became.
There are, and I am not kidding, people who want us to spend minutes on fighting a single enemy. Damage cap. Movement speed cap. Gameplay based purely on dodging one shots. These people weren't here during PoE 1. It is rather frightening.

Hypocrisy ?
That actually makes a lot of sense.
If the game was fun, he would be playing instead of posting on forum. And so should you.

Ask me how I know :D

Well, if someone say "this game is dead to me" then I don't see any reason why bother with it. That's a bit hypocritical to me as it does not look like it's dead to that person imo.

What about you read the full sentence then, and don't ignore the "unless" part, that obviously brings a condition to the rest of the sentence ?
My take is that they should pause PoE1 until PoE2 is completely finished, then they can continue the 2 month league cycle for each game.

I KNOW PoE1 players hate this opinion and rather eat up mediocre leagues every 2 months, but it has to happen, both for PoE1 and PoE2 players.

Coincidentally, PoE2 is being treated slightly more favourably by GGG (PoE1 is not even getting .1 mid-league patches), so it is in PoE1's players interests for this idea to pass.

Would you rather have another year of mediocre PoE1 leagues, or wait for them to finish PoE2, then have good leagues again for both games?
GGG is obviously at fault here because they CANNOT manage two games at the same time and have proven that few leagues in a row.

my soltution isn't necessarly to bring more move speed to the player.
but we could have a little more move speed (get rid of sprint especially the heavy stun) get rid of the horrible layout generation and reduce map size by a lot. hell even let us choose the layout we want to run in endgame and it would be fine.

and to be honest the monsters are already zooming in endgame currently

i think we should rather have 2/3 leagues of poe 1 and then one big league of poe 2. there is too much to work on poe 2 right now than to make new leagues. there is barely any new content every league

Yes and no. No, because I want to have an year of awesome leagues. But mediocre leagues are still fine. No PoE 1 means I am out of here real fast.

The "not dead" condition is about changing current state of the game if I'm not mistaken. So the game as it is at this moment is "dead" to him "unless" GGG make some change. Am I correct?

Oh he did read the sentence, he even quoted the full sentence.
That's what's going on on this forum.

There is a person on another thread who said that 0.4 is much faster than 0.3

I think at this point, there's no way GGG can be confused as to what the intents are. If they do, then it's a them problem and it's extremely worrying.

Great take (unlike the rest of this silly thread).

I myself had a problem with the movement skill spam because it disincentivizes killing anything but rare/unique monsters, especially if the loot distribution favours that. Sprinting already caused a lot of this in poe2.
