GGG should Nerf Team Farm, or open the soloplayer-trade mode.

Remove from POE 1 also, no point in having a max level when you can just buy a carry. P.S
I am a Dog and i will just drop my load and leave on to the next post |

You're right. I agree

" It is, it is the answer. If you like it for being fun then just play it for fun. Unfair advantage is not fun for everyone else. N But you know what, nerf is not the answer indeed. ALL party bonuses should be deleted. There should be ZERO advantage to play with team. |

The problem is not team farm. It's the overpowered build that ggg ignored like comet. It's 10x more powerful than any other build. Just nerf comet 1000% and no one can team farm in high levels temple anymore. All fixed

Team farm should stay. Except, setting up team farm should be far more costly. 1 man should not be allowed to carry 6 man on his own without aurabots/cursebots. We should encourage more player interactions and a community, all hosted using ggg-only services. But little has been done towards in-game community. By just having an IRC style chat system would already help so much.

I wouldn't mind another solo league option (with trade). Now that async trade exists we never need to team up for anything. I always play 100% solo except maybe for an ascendancy carry if I'm lazy.
This would split the playerbase but that would be good for players who play solo. It would be interesting, even just as an experiment to see the difference between the two economies. Dernière édition par SaiyanZ#3112, le 5 janv. 2026 à 05:32:33

Why is Party Play So Heavily Criticized?
The cost of gearing a specialized farming party is far lower than that of gearing six solo players (who need to balance offense, defense, rarity, life/mana, speed, and various mechanics), yet the party is much stronger and has significantly higher survivability. The cost of entry maps is only 1/6 of what a solo player would pay, and top-tier scarabs can be used freely. Can a solo player afford to run legendary abyss scarabs every time? They’d lose currency instead. Even after splitting loot, party profits are at least 10 to 100 times higher than solo farming. Many defenders only calculate raw Divine Orb drops from party play, but they ignore the fact that parties run 20+ mod maps with fracturing/rustic scarabs, perfect Exalted Orbs, high-value uniques, and expensive runes dropping constantly. As a solo player, how many fracturing orbs, perfect Exalts, valuable uniques, or high-tier runes do you see in a day? GGG must have completely lost their minds to design such a party farming mechanic. It completely violates the basic principle of high risk, high reward; low risk, low reward. Party players are taking all the advantages while solo players are left with scraps. Possible Solutions: Increase the cost for party play (entry fees, gear investment, difficulty, or time). Reduce party rewards by at least 50–80%. Introduce a Solo-Self-Found (SSF) with trade league, so those who claim to “enjoy party play” can compete among themselves. |

The main issue is that the profits are way too overwhelming, creating a strong sense of pressure on solo players.
