GGG since the exploit got widespread adoption u helped the exploiters

This is a GGG oversight, not an exploit. Resetting zones is not an exploit.

I still can't understand why people so overreact over an early acess videogame. I mean if you sell currency for real money then I understand yes, but I suppose then you shouldn't complain here. Other then this i don't know.

i cant understand "this is ea ggg can do anything" dudes

you can say yea its early access and bad things gonna happening IF this game is made by students or first-timers. NOT professional studio with poe1 background

I think you're both right. GGG is practicing for full release, so they should treat this like a finished game as much as they can. On the other hand, the code is going to be janky, no way around it.

I think GGG's silence is causing more consternation than anything else. A one liner like, "We were out of office, we're back now and investigating, full announcement coming in a few days," would calm most people down.

There is no point in continuing playing this league, I just did a sweep on the market, it's clear now that without RMT there's nothing affordable and it's impossible to pick up with the league.

The league is officially dead for anyone which doesn't have a temple already built or which don't want to slip the credit card.
It does not matter what we think now, we have been given the green light to cheat and exploit going forward by GGG. Does not make me excited for the future of this game.
Theres a difference between bug abuse, exploits and abusing in game mechanics. It feels the same but from a TOS perspective they are all different and have different degrees of severity and action to be taken by a company.
Good thing in 3 months or so none of the currency made will matter. Not for league people anyway…
Although I agree with the main point. this scentece is simply NOT true

WHY AVG TEMLE RUNNERS HAVE 20X TIMES MORE PROFITS THAN AVG MAP RUNNERS.

The average temple runner is definitely making much, much less than the average mapper. Things only get really skewed after you invest over 100h in building a temple (without using any exploit).

Its when you have a finished Temple Build which many people actually have. Those people make stupid amounts of currency.

Some people will still argue that this “wasn’t an exploit.” But let’s be honest, we’ve discussed this to death already. If it truly wasn’t an exploit, why was it patched repeatedly? You don’t keep hotfixing and reworking a system unless something is fundamentally wrong.

To the OP: thanks for laying this out clearly. I’m not sure it will change anything, especially when the largest promoter of this strategy was also one of the biggest streamers in the community, and nothing happened there. That alone sends a message about enforcement and priorities.

At this point, the damage to the economy is already done. So the only sensible move forward is damage control:

Keep the Temple mechanic (it is fun),

Reduce the raw currency output, especially divines,

High unique drops are fine, they don’t destabilize the economy the same way.

The real issue isn’t loot in general, it’s raw currency printing. When divines are generated this easily and at this scale, value collapses. It’s basically like getting paid a dollar every time you go to the bathroom, sure, it feels good at first, but it completely breaks the system.

What worries me most is the precedent this sets. The way this was handled makes it look like rapid exploit discovery and abuse carries no real risk, as long as it’s widespread enough. That’s a dangerous signal to send to the player base, and honestly one of the worst examples of exploit handling I’ve seen.
PoE 2 is not PoE 1 with better graphics.
