I'm not sure I understand the complaints about ruined economy

What people are failing to mention is the RMT. It is now so skewed that a person working a minimum wage job can buy 100 divines for an hour of work. What this effectively does is devalues everyone's playing time. Unless you are running the super juiced temples already, you are screwed as a player because the economy is so tilted that nothing good is affordable to you anymore, that is unless you RMT or are fine with just remaining below average.

I am not condoning RMT as I think it ruins games, I am just stating the reality of the situation. Sadly the situation is dire and unfortunately with out a rollback to pre holten(which wont happen), there is no way to recover. If they nerf it, then the distance from normal player to temple abuser will get even larger. There is no winning for GGG in this. They completely hosed their game by releasing around a holiday when no one works with out proper testing and then failed to fix the problems as they came up.

Don't look at exalt to div ratio.

Look at chase uniques, etc.

They are insanely expensive and going up daily.

Rakiata's flow was the usual 20 div before temple farming. It's now around 100.

All "chase" crafting currency is through the roof.

Yes, this economy is out of control and should be expected when a single solo can generate 100 div per hour.

of course those items are "going up" in price, AKA they're costing more divines, because divines are gettin flushed down the toilet in value since the market is getting pumped with them, and they're a pretty crappy crafting currency. since there is no sink for them they don't retain their value

but while every item that is priced in divines is going up, its also much much easier to get divines, because they're so cheap.
its all relative friend. everyone flipping out is just rage-trolling
Well in a sense you can say the economy was "ruined" just as quickly last season. The difference is how prices jumped on what I guess you could call god tier items. Or at least close to the top items in popular builds.

So there is obviously far more divines etc flooding into the game than any previous league.

On the other hand certain shall we say people seem to be able to print endless divines every league regardless. These are just generally the "people" that are attempting to turn divines into cash. This league it's just a lot of actual players that took advantage of a new thing....

The economy is ruined either way... this league is just beyond crazy the amount of currency out there.

Temple also floods the market with uniques. Not just divines and there's a limited number of players that want those uniques so prices of uniques are better than ever. eg. Hyrri's Ire is less than 100ex. Cost around 25divs a few weeks ago. Everything that drops in temple is available in abundance and cheaper than ever.

Only the few non-temple drops are high in price. So making builds is better than ever as long as you don't use those uniques.
Exploiters should be banned for the league and permanently if they repeat the behaviour.

All GGG has set the precedent for with 0.4 is exploit early, exploit as much as you possibly can before the exploit gets patched.

Examples need to be made or this will keep occurring because GGG can't cover all eventualities in player patterns.

It's Early Access for a reason - we are meant to contribute feedback to identify issues (this exploit was obviously an unintended gameplay loop) and improve the game.

The fact GGG have decided to dress it up with league cycles is a bad choice IMO, for player experience and expectation management, as well as the overall speed of development for PoE 2. Mind you I wasn't around when PoE 1 was being put together (only began playing in 3.21) so maybe they always did iteration over league cycles but it just doesn't feel appropriate in the context of the state of PoE 2.

Of course they will. They earn real money with those and their streams so they will continue to do so and people now know that imitating them keeps them safe as well.

There is no reason for them not to do it. Especially when you factor in the money they make as well with the videos regarding the outrage, fixes and workarounds to maintain the farm strat.
course theres a reason not to do it. you'd make more money than youtube by selling the currency made to rmt sites
waaa people who are doing better than me are EXPLOITERS
