If anything HH needs a buff, because it is insanely overhyped while in reality it is a pretty trash item in PoE2, especially if you compare its power level to PoE1.

If you can get HH in the league start weekend, sure, it is a good power boost, while you get the rest of your GG gear, but even then it is highly situtional.

I got my HH with plant druid this league, the only thing it does for me that i died more times in 2 days with HH than in the previous 5 days with a randomn 50ex trash rare belt, because the stupid shroudwalker buff just flat out kills you.

The buffs you steal are weak as hell i mean you get:
* + ele res, who cares, you are capped anyways
* +ES aura, which is patheticly weak, i gain less than 10% of my base ES from it with a decent gear, whcih altogether cost less than HH
* extra damage for what, you get a good weapon and you got all damage you need to clear any content, since you cannot do überjuicing like in poe1
*shroudwalker buff which teleports you randomly to your death

The only real good buff is the haste aura to gain extra movement speed, because speed is king in PoE2


In PoE1 at least (physical) attack based characters could gain huge benefits from HH, especially when you are pushing juicing to the max.

That's some logic you got there champ.
Good for you.
You should consider journalist career with such selective and manipulative way of quoting someone.

I'm surprised it's still strong to be honest. They nerfed or just straight up deleted every strong mechanic to be found so far

It's funny because I'm thinking of downgrading to a Soul Tether for ES leech. That would give me so much more survivability than Headhunter, and I still explode screens without any belt equipped as it is. Headhunter is iconic, but honestly feels bad to play with to me.

Amazingly good very rare uniques should be a thing... remove them and we chase nothing lol. so, no, dont do that.
