end game is to fast and monsters have to low HP - bring back 0.1 difficulty

Dude you're trolling. The game is not "to fast" it's way to slow. I don't know how many more times I can play through this campaign.

At least as melee (I don't play meta ranged builds) the game is slow AF and deeply unrewarding and time wasting. Campaign takes forever, few gear opportunities, nearly no crafting, Mace takes slowness to 5x heights, armor is nearly useless (for 2/3 campaign we nearly die every few seconds and spam potion), get stuck on everything it seems, game seems to randomly assign your dodges and attacks directions completely unrelated to mouse positioning, rubberbanding due to latency spikes, glitching across screen due to this push mechanic, low opportunity for movement speed gains, endless slowing effects, endless ground effects, visual pollution that would make PoE1 blush as you near end of campaign, mobs in PoE1 volume and speed while trying to force "meaningful" combat... It goes on.
This is supposed to be a GAME, not a second job simulator. I have supported poe/ggg for well over a decade and a lot of it was in anticipation of PoE2 (which was supposed to have been a massive update to modernize PoE1 (without destroying it). This heap is a massive disappointment. No one was cheering for a souls-like when it was announced, no one wanted them to design it around the Ruthless mode (except for Kripp) which was/is deeply unpopular. Personally, I can barely play it as is. I am honestly burned out half way through the campaign every "league" and after forcing myself through it I have zero desire left to play this end game. They are not producing a product that can bring back players repeatedly for the long term. Maybe they decided to make a campaign focused storyline driven rpg, but I was under the impression they had plans for a FTP model that was monetized by selling cosmetics, in a recurring fashion, during a long series of seasons/leagues (PoE has done this successfully for well over a decade, which is why PoE2 even exists!). Do we really think people will keep coming back to replay the SLOG of a campaign over and over for the next 10+ years????? I can answer for exactly one person and that's myself.. If they don't quicken the games pace by shortening the campaign, streamlining the movement of both navigation and combat and improving the itemization so that we can ramp to an interesting and rewarding end game, I won't give them another cent because I won't be logging in. They need to stop with the leagues and finish the classes, weapons, end game and already existing systems in the game and trim the campaign because the fatigue is only getting worse. " The slower the game gets, the thinner the player base will be. Slow pacers will never be happy with any version of the product because what they are looking for is not an actual arpg. I almost skipped 0.4 because the campaign was very slow for me. I'm glad I haven't because I'm having fun playing still right now even if the atziri temple isn't the greatest thing ever, it's still fun to me. I also love that abysses tablets exists. I'm waiting for better end game but honestly, with at least towers removed, end game is more enjoyable. I just hope we won't still be in an infinite atlas meta in 0.5. But the worst thing they could do, is make the game slower than it already is. The game is really fucking slow right now and I'm not having as much fun as I had in 0.3. " You can always use worst gear for better challenge. That way you would be happy and Timmies could still play the game. But for such a hardcore player, that 4 kinda taints the message 😭 |

+1
That 0.1 balance and pacing felt really good. Now, Act 1 and 2 are completely trivial, and 3 is not much better. This was done to please the blasters that didnt want to play the game and it made the campaign less exciting and more boring. They really have to bring back that monster power up, starting from Act 1. |

The problem between slow or fast, easy or hard lies on the itens.
Endgame itens are too powerful and that is what it should be nerfed. This a heavy grinding game, meaning it takes time to farm these godlike itens, also finishing the campaing earlier puts you at an economic advantage (as it should be), someone who doesn't have much time to play will not have acess to these itens, wont be able to farm divs or even buying them at a good price. Therefore to make the game better for everyone GGG needs to look at this gap between players. Of couse the game feels easy when you delete everything without even looking and the game will feel hard when you dont have good itens and have to interact with the enemies, it's just a matter of perspective Making the mobs faster and more tankier will make things even worse for people who are already struggling and makeing mobs less tankier will make things even easier (and worse) for those who are not having challenge. Therefore the way to change one thing without hurting the other side is nerfing the max vaklues of itens, first of all, get rid of + skill on itens, its too poweful and too mandatory on itens. Also by nerfing the itens GGG can maybe buff some skill gems and allow interactions that they forbid today Bring the ceiling of players down, stop nerfing gems and passives and nerf the itens |

" By extremely far the worst take of this forum. Itemization is by extremely far the most important aspect of the game. We are griding for good weapons and armors. If those things don't feel great, people will delete the game, and I sure will. This is not negociable. Bad itemization is an immediate complete game killer. It's as if people are trying so hard to kill the pillars of what make a good arpg and it's baffling me to the point I genuinely believe this is an attack on GGG by the competition. Uniques are already 98% fucking trash and you are advocating for worse itemization. Every single fucking rare drop is 99.9999999999999999999% charsi food. This trolling has to stop immediately, GGG should recognize this as a direct attack on the perennity of their game. Good items is paramount, it's the fundamental pillar of this type of game. " I agree, they should feel great, but right now endgame itens are just too powerful, i sugest a little nerf, not making them bad, i also support the idea of removing some mods (like light radius) to make drops better What i'm proposing here is a solution that benefits a side without hurting the other. I made an experiment some time ago where i used worse items, enough for me to take more than a minute to kill a boss, and i saw their struggle, thats when i saw the gap is betwen zoomers and slowpokes is not skill issue like zoomtards like to say the gap lies on the items. items that people with less time will never get because of limited play time I also agree Uniques are trash, and that this fight between slow and fast has to stop (many trools on both sides) What else can we maybe do to make the game better for both? |
