Do we need cooldowns, spirit, ammunition, charges, rage, glory, fuel, infusions, combo, and energy?

GGG is slowly killing freedom of experimenting and build diversity (well kinda pretty much is at this point), everything is railroaded to a specific playstyle that THEY want YOU to play. And i doubt it will get better, PoE2 is just something else, honestly an abomination of a game that tries so hard to be a successor to PoE1. Everything this game offers, skills, supports, "complexity" it just falls off short and there is a very loud majority that don't like what is happening with this game.
I don't mind having all of those things tbh.
Ammunition stands out because it differentiates xbox from bow and you feel the "oomph" in the abilities which is very cool.

With most of the others, rage the least offending because it feels fitting for rage, what annoys me is how most abilities are useless without spending resources.
Ignoring bruteforcing it with t1/t2 affix gear abilities should feel good and fun to use whenever you want to dedicate yourself to using a few and if you want to use them together with charges they should feel extraordinarily good as a reward for going through the setups.

Currently they feel terrible and after jumping through hoops they feel like regular abilities. Not fun.
Those are only in the first year of Early Access. Who knows what additional, creative ways to gum up the works GGG will come up with down the pike? =^[.]^=
=^[.]^= basic (happy/amused) cheetahmoticon: Whiskers/eye/tear-streak/nose/tear-streak/eye/
whiskers =@[.]@= boggled / =>[.]<= annoyed or angry / ='[.]'= concerned / =0[.]o= confuzzled /
=-[.]-= sad or sleepy / =*[.]*= dazzled / =^[.]~= wink / =~[.]^= naughty wink / =9[.]9= rolleyes #FourYearLie
real talk the combat experience in this game is an afterthought, so much of the game was likely made before they even shifted focus to the combat and wanting a 'higher calibre action game'.

so we're seeing a lot of top-down design shenanigans in order to incentivize a multi-button playstyle, rather than (bottom-up) designing a weapon's suite of skills to just feel natural and satisfying to press one after another.
which is a hard task when this stuff isn't mandatory and class locked etc.
