Locking a large portion of map juicing behind Arbiter

Just purchase the keys and go in. You have unlimited tries to kill him.

He is easy especially if you do low damage so he uses his mechanics properly. In my case I had to deal with 3 mechanics at the same time due to his new second phase, its bugging out if you do too much damage.

But overall it doesn't have so much hp. If you can't kill it, you don't need 4 mods tablet tbh because you will not be able to sustain them. You need to do t15 maps without dying. Afterall, if you want to juice with tablets you need 2 prefix with proper mods such as Rare monster increase, Rarity increase, Efficieny increase tc. You need 2 of them on a tablet, which is not common.

Being able to do T15s is nowhere near enough prep for Arbiter. His mechanics are infuriating. I can do T15s with ease and Arbiter took me like 3-4 hours straight to complete, and I barely did it. It's frankly a really terrible fight with all of the stupid one shot beam attacks that half the time overlap with some other thing that's going to one shot you and you have no ability to deal with it.

As always, the easiest way is to just have enough DPS that you don't have to actually do any of the mechanics. It's 10x easier that way. In general, pretty poorly designed.
Oh I didn't know that you can just buy the keys. That makes it a lot less annoying. Thought you had to find the 3 bosses first on the world map.

Though like some others said. It's weird to have to fight a superboss first, just so we can have a bunch more rare mobs and increased rarity in our maps.

I guess nobody would complain if the Arbiter fight was more like T4 Xesht. No weird one shot mechanics. I'd rather fight T4 Xesht than T1 Arbiter.

I think some of you guys need to go play ssf for a while.

You think the game has a problem because as soon as you got to maps you started buying t10 maps.

YOU are the problem. Not the game.

What are you even bothering commenting when all you keep saying is "you are playing the game wrong", etc. Nobody cares. Just because you want to grind 20 maps of each tier doesn't mean everyone else has to.

We will play the game however we want. That's the beauty of POE. Player choice.

I agree. The game is very explicitly and purposefully designed around trade. Also, the game is fun when you're actually in danger of dying. If I could clear T12s but I'm stuck at T1 - T5 for 60 maps I'd probably just quit the game entirely.

Don't get me wrong if they did something like the Circle of Fortune from Last Epoch in SSF mode I'd probably never play trade league again, but as it is SSF is just a self imposed punishment for people with massive amounts of time and encyclopedic knowledge of the game - neither of which I have.

Having played the league, here's my feedback on the tablets. Locking rare tablets behind beating Arbiter doesn't feel good. It's a significant amount of juice and it's all mainly just buffs for more content and drops that you can't get until you beat Arbiter.

It feels like a chore you need to do by rushing lvl1 maps to find all the bosses you need to kill asap before you can enjoy juicing maps.

If you try to play normally by progressing map tiers and juicing along the way like you normally would, it takes a lot longer to find the bosses. By the time you find the bosses and kill them you'll probably be like lvl95 and almost ready to quit the character/league.

Its a good thing to have this stuff locked behind achievements.

This is why voidstones were such a good system. The only way to make it better is to make it solo only so you cant pay for carries.

What happens is people will get to endgame, pay for carries to be able to juice harder then their character is not strong enough to do the content. So they come here and complain that the game is too hard.

Being locked behind something that forces your character to have some threshold of power insures, at least a little bit, that you are ready to get the extra juice.

its such a good system that clearly nobody is trying to rush voidstones as the first thing to do once one finds himself doing maps right ?
Surely every poe1 player just does tier1 maps and then tier2 maps, nobody ever in poe1 history every just rushes high tier maps to get the 3 voidstones ASAP so that majority of map drops is at least tier16 right.

A system that yet again punishes new players and benefits only people with thousands of hours in the game.
Great minds discuss ideas,
Small minds discuss people.
