Don’t Release Leagues Until 1.0

That is a terrible idea, with all due respect.

Early access exists so developers can get a feedback on some of the good or bad ideas they had.

We gave them feedback that being able to use only 1 copy of a support gem was a terrible idea and restricted builds.
Now... it's gone. You can use as many as you want on different skills.

Developers need proper feedback on mechanics they release. More so when 90% of these mechanics will be integrated into the core game.

But they HAVE feedback though,a lot of it,and they're refusing to listen regardless.

Hell you can't tell me they looked at the temples being clunky with poor loot and thought "THIS IS WHAT PLAYERS WILL WANT" with a straight face when loot has been a constant complaint as early as .1.

Maybe they can try one more league (0.5) to get a stable backbone.

If 0.5 turns out to me mid then id agree, stop with the leagues during EA and wait for the full release. They need to really get priorities set especially if they wanna simultaneously develop poe1 and poe2.
I think there's some things missing here.

The distribution of work in big projects doesn't really work so that you can just put everyone on a single task and except it to then get done linearly faster based on the amount of people working on it.

For example, if a group of designers are looking at end game improvements, if you double the size of that group, it doesn't mean that the design is done twice faster. There's communication overhead and so on.

And obviously not everyone working on the project has the same skills or can always utilize their skills for one task. E.g. if your skillset is in graphics and effect programming, you are not necessarily all that useful to the aforementioned group of designers brainstorming about end game improvements. Instead, you are useful in helping implement effects for new skills or classes.

Very often, the situation is so that you can work on A, B, C and D. Let's assume that with an even distribution, the baseline productivity on each is 100%.

If you remove C and D, and put everyone on A and B, you might now have 150% productivity in both. So the total productivity towards improvements and new features decreased.

Also, the league mechanics are a core part of the end game. They are what you are supposed to be doing in the end game. Adding them as a league mechanic to the campaign is probably a fairly modest amount of extra work. And you need the leagues to restart the economy and to encourage people to make new characters; that's really important especially in EA to get people to run the campaign repeatedly to discover issues and to make balance adjustments.

Thing is... we are already in full release for a year now.
Real patch number is 1.0.4.
Why is that? Because the game right from the start is treated like a full release, not like an actual early-access-demo.

Early access does not mean demo. Early access is, and has been from the very first use of the term, a funding model allowing players to purchase & play unfinished games (beta and even earlier) and provide feedback that can shape the direction of the game.

It gives developers (normally indie and smaller studios) a way to get additional income during development, and a group of willing play testers.

Basically a demo.

Sure, you can make up your own meanings for words if you want. Unfortunately it doesn't actually change anything, just makes you look...
This is 1.0

We paid for it a year ago.
