This Patch is by far the worst for performance I've ever had

Performance went to toilet for me as well.
To be more precise, im playing the game since 0.1 on the same system (4070 Ti, i7-13700k, 32 gb ddr5) and never had this crappy performance.
During the campaign, didnt really notice other than the constant shadder rebuilding pretty much every 2nd zone, mostly at boss fights.
That got fixed by swapping from Dx12 to Vulkan, i had not a single shadder rebuilding loading screen ever since...

BUUUUUTT

But once i started to do heavy juicing, oh boy.
Never before had i problem with FPS, but now, my standard 144 FPS dips to low 20 every time there is a clusterfck happening (abyss, supercondensed breach on narrow maps, etc)

I did same juicing in previous leagues, without any noticable FPS drops even with LA deadeye instant 10 screen blowing up infinite herald chains.

Today i got to the point where my GPU just straight away went full overdrive and game crashed my entire system (GPU shut down, while the vents went to 100% speed)

So im kinda curious, where is the advertised improvement, with the 40% decreased mob count?
Because the only thing i've noticed is a massive 40% FPS drops acrossed the board when you start pushing your "endgame"...

Imagine what will happen if the actual endgame will be implemented?

Just got a 2nd crash, apparently the "optimization" is just there to kill my CPU as the temp spiked to 100C, hence my system shut down.
Again, this never happened before, not in PoE1, 2 or any other games on the same config.

I have the same issues in endgame, campaign works great but in juiced content as soon as i shield wall with fissures i halve my fps. Every other map i get the "spinning cogs" crash. 7800x3d/4060/32gb capped at 60 on lowest settings possible with dlss on ultra performance.

They said the performance improvements were cpu centered so i think its us with low VRAM that are suffering the most.

When making a thread about performance, please show computer specs. Thanks.

I agree, I crash at least 10 times a day on console. This is five times worse than .1 performance for me on xbox.
