How did you end up with 250GB? How can you have a 80GB content.ggpk when it's supposed to be 125GB? Shader cache folder is like 3GB. You both should consider redownloading the game because something seems installed twice or something.

Like I said, the installer is not cleaning up temp files.

It's downloading whatever it downloads to /temp (a folder that virtually every operating system has, it gets wiped on reboot).

Then it uses what it downloaded to /temp to install the game, and it doesn't clean up after itself.

So the disk space usage after install is 2x what the stated requirements are, and the space comes back after a reboot.

No, I will not go through multiple reboots to install POE2. No, it's not my problem, it's just more shoddy work on GGG's part.

FWIW, Epic's launcher fixes this for GGG if you install the game from there. The Epic launcher does clean up temp files as they are used, and not require 2x the disk space the game says it needs to install the game.

The problem with the latter option is when GGG's auth / license key server breaks you can't get into the game at all, without unlinking from the Epic installer and installing the native version.

tl;dr: no boss in the game is the hardest boss, the hardest boss is GGG itself, massive bugs that you cannot kill around every corner.
and if shade cache included, that's 1.5GB(poe2 folder in Roaming)+4GB(in Nvidia folder),that's really ridiculous...almost 140GB
I have trouble with storage too.

Right now, If I want to play POE1, I have to move POE2 into my old external HD which took about 7+ hours.

Then move POE1 into my laptop.

I keep going back and forth because of leagues.

Soon, I won't be able too, because POE2 filesize is getting ridiculous.
