Everybody, please let GGG know whether you're playing on Vulkan or DX12, cause the hotfix did it for me, but ONLY on DX12 (the problem remains with Vulkan).
I still want them to fix Vulkan though, cause performance is better. |

" Ok yeah the problem was fixed for me after the patch and I played like 4-5 hours today on dx12 with no issues, after reading the forum I checked out Vulkan and the texture thing happened after like 10 mins of playing oof. |

Problem persists after hotfix.
I managed to play for an hour or so without getting the issue while using vulkan instead of Dx12, because Dx12 the issue appeared much faster, but as soon as VRAM gets to 3.1gb, the issue comes back either way, I have checked this multiple times, but yeah, not fixed, sadly. Specs: i5-12450H 16gb RAM DDR5 RTX 2050 4gb VRAM GDDR6 Edit: Also, i already cleared caches, be it PoE2 cache or even the system one you can clear on windows settings, cleared both more than once through testing, the issue still seem to persist regardless when VRAM game usage goes to 3.1gb Dernière édition par jerelove#5483, le 15 déc. 2025 à 13:51:03

It does appear to be a virtual ram issue, I still had the issue persist after the "hotfix", playing with DX12. Increasing page filing size in advanced system settings seemed to help with the issue.

The hotfix helped, it happens way less frequently, but it still does, especially when I enter the Act 3 town. Streaming the game on discord also seems to make it happen way more frequently.

The problem persists. It feels like the game gets more and more laggy, the longer I play, like some memory is not clearing or leaking. After lags get too big, the game crashes. I had items visible for longer moments, but they still disappear.
the GPU is GTX 1060. I play on dx12. |

Issue seemed to be solved after playing for multiple hours without problem, but it has since come back and did not resolve itself.
I did try upscaling mode set to 'Off' and 'FSR' and the issue came back sometime after that but this could also just be coincidence.. DX12, 6GB VRAM, 3600X |

No further fixes for this issue? The steam page lists 3gb VRAM cards as a minimum spec requirement, yet this issue still persists on people with 6gb cards.
