Hey guys, thanks for the reports. We're looking into these issues currently.

If you're experiencing these issues please respond here with your system specs and an image detailing what you're seeing in-game along with your telemetry graphs. Windows 11
16GB RAM
NVidia GeForce RTX 2050 4GB VRAM
i5-12450H (~2GHz)
(there goes my 2 days of the Free Weekend)

This sucks. Wanting to try the game out during a free weekend and running into this kind of issue is a big meh.
getting texture issue as well

CPU : 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400H @ 2.70GHz
GPU : NVIDIA GTX Laptop GPU 3050
RAM : 32 GB

I've also been dealing with this issue. Once VRAM goes over ~4.3GB it starts happening.

Specs:
Windows 11 Pro 23H2
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
RTX 2060KO
32GB RAM
I got my first one today too.

Seems like when reaching a VRAM threshold this problem appears.

I have the following configs:
- RTX 2060 6GB
- Ryzen 9 3900K
- 32GB RAM DDR4

If I pass around 4.2GB VRAM usage, the bug appears. I could force it using DLSS with DLAA on the Ardura Caravan.

I'm using linux and a way to reduce vram usage was using gamescope on the launch params on steam:

gamescope -w 1600 -h 900 -W 1920 -H 1080 -F fsr -f -- %command%

It will force the internal resolution to 1600x900 and I can gain some leeway to avoid this happening. You can still use DLSS or other upscalers together with this to improve the upscalling.

Temporary workaround that at least makes the game playable

After trying pretty much everything (shader cache cleanup, driver update, Vulkan/DX12 switching, file verification, settings tweaks, etc.), the only thing that actually helped in my case was switching the renderer to DirectX 11.

Yes, the visual quality is noticeably worse.
Yes, performance is not great — there are FPS spikes and occasional stutters, and sometimes even errors.

However, DX11 consistently loads textures and UI correctly, even when moving between locations.

It’s obviously not a real fix, but with the league already started and many players unable to properly play, DX11 at least allows you to see textures and interface until GGG pushes a proper fix.

Hopefully this helps someone who’s stuck and just wants the game to be playable for now.
i get the same bug with no textures when i go from loading screen to a new area, or when i interact with vendors in town, if im lucky to log into the game i get a "deadlock detected" pop up while i try to open the game most of the time, its been many hours since the patch with all this problems have droped i see people streaming maps and icant even play the campaign, all my problems started after the servers closed for an hour to fix things? and i see many people here that cant play either, will be a fix for all of us that cant play or just unlucky with pc specs and we wont be able to play poe2 ever again?

DX11 is the only thing i've tried that restores textures. Nice, thanks.
I know this will only help very few, but if you are on an Intel ARC GPU, try enabling Upscaling Mode "Intel XeSS" and select "Ultra Performance".

It didnt totally get rid of it for me, but instead of every 10-20 minutes I only had the textures disappear twice in the last 4 hours.
