So far I can tell people with 4GB video cards are having the issue, the game uses more then 4GB currently, in my case up to 8GB...so yeah, I think that's why. For now, make sure you reduce VRAM usage below 4GB.

I solved it. I fixed it in the Nvidia settings. Path of Exile 2 game settings are set to high; change those settings to medium and save, and it won't break again. It didn't break for me.
