I would love some difficulty options. As I play the game more, I'm disappointed how easy the campaign is becoming. Not massively disappointed—I love the campaign—but it just kinda eats at the back of my mind, like, "Man, Viper Napuatzi only took me 1 try and I'm building my character in a really generalist and uncreative way."

Maybe it could be a league mechanic? Like, getting to draft modifiers at Checkpoints that affect chunks of the stage or the nearest boss.

If you have a good weapon the campaign is very easy.

If you have a bad weapon your experience can be awful.

If you are playing trade and have a bad weapon you're likely trolling yourself. If you're playing ssf you prolly figured out where best to spend resources to keep a good weapon.

Yeah, it's wild how variable weapons are. They have sooo many useless mods, but it's easy to get at least 1 really good weapon when smashing resources on everything you find until you get a hefty physical percent up/spell skill level/etc. and Desecrate from there.

I'm not an ARPG master by any means, but I can't see a scenario where you're completely without a good weapon. You just get so many opportunities to smash currency onto things, especially with the early Vaal Temple stuff, Desecration...

Please GGG... consider difficulty scaling options

Just a reminder that there are 4 difficulty levels in this game and most of people who suggest to make the game harder play on the easiest one of all.

Just a reminder that SSF and HC are not difficulty scaling.

And as a fun fact, I'll have you know that I just reached endgame with a level 10 staff.

So please, spare me.

It IS difficulty scaling. In SC you can brute force your way through a boss fight, and in SC Trade you can do it with top-tier gear for your level. In HC you are only allowed to die once and in HC SSF you have to do it with whatever trash you found. Of course it increases difficulty.

If you refuse to try one of these difficulty settings and instead complain about how the game is too easy on easy mode idk what to say to you.

Try a melee character with level 10 weapon and without brute forcing your way through the game, then we can talk.

SSC and HC is not difficulty scaling. Period.

The only difficulty scaling in the game is in the atlas tree and on some maps (such as monster effectiveness and map boss difficulty)

They are because they make the game harder which is what difficulty scaling is supposed to do. Period.
