Just try new things, you will discover the right way to play. You need to find out the skill to kill bosses.
I have iterated 3 seasons to create my own build. Now, it is working, but I'm sure it can be even better.
This guy is a god for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IQOOutDM90
You know that speedrunners play the same game we play and they are not alien, true?
They know things we don't know, but we can learn from them. The game is hard if you don't know what to do in the correct moment.

For context I would consider myself a moderately experienced POE 1 player. I play most leagues and I consistently make it to the endgame. I have experimented with making my own builds before and I have a pretty decent understanding of how offensive and defensive math works in this game.
Look, I am doing my best to play this game "the way it was intended". I'm going slow. I'm identifying items on the ground. I'm shattering gear for regal shards. I'm using my currency to craft on every relevant base to try and make gear upgrades instead of hording it for endgame. I'm full clearing and exploring edge to edge many of the campaign areas. I'm even repeating some areas to try to farm better loot and get ahead on levels. I'm not rushing to endgame and I'm exploring a variety of skills and combos. I really want to like this game. My favorite moments in POE1 were before I learned to optimize the fun out of it. Before I treated everything pre-t16 as a tutorial to be speedran. I want to enjoy discovering cool skills and combos again. I want to feel satisfied when I beat a boss for a first time.
Having given all this context: every single boss fight is a miserable experience. I hate every moment. I feel no satisfaction when I finally beat a boss, only a feeling of dread as I go "oh gods I'm going to have to deal with more and worse of this garbage in every area of every act aren't I?". I'm not here to prescribe a solution, I'm sure the designers have way more data points than I do, I am just offering my feedback. As it stands right now, I am struggling to convince myself to keep coming back to this. I've never beaten act 3 yet, not because I hit a boss I can't beat, but because I keep struggling to get myself to launch the game because I know I'm going to encounter a boss and I'm going to have to spend 30+ minutes dodging the same 2 abilities 100+ times per fight and if I miss a dodge even once I'll either get one shot or have to eat through a ton of flask charges until I run out of those and then get killed by a basic attack. If I'm the only one feeling this, then whatever, the game is not for me and that's fine, but if I am having this bad of a time I really struggle to see newer players having a better time.
i believe all these miseries created by ggg is intentional.
poe2 is designated to be a premier arpg and to be the best and king of arpg. ggg designed poe2 to be the number one arpg. it is intentionally designed to be difficult, extremely challenging, annoying, time-consuming and painful to learn, to master, to play and to win the game.
i believe many people (including me) had rage-quit one time or another over various incidents in the game.
players keep dying to the viper naupatizi in act 3, the gorilla boss in the jungle, tavakai, zolina, etc, etc.
many players hate the game but even more players love the game. it is what it is.
the game is purposely designed like that to differentiate between the superior players and the inferior players. it is like the pyramid. only a few elite players at the top and the bottom is filled with many inferior players.
that's is why the game is so popular. if the game is too easy, people will look down on the game and nobody wants to play it. no streamers will want to play, no content provider will want to play. and no followers will want to play. and then the game will die.
it is up to individual players to decide how they want to go online to search for information and resources to beat the game. that's the way it is. it is like this.

I think you are one of the few people in the replies actually addressing what I am trying to say. Thank you for the context and I probably need to come to terms with the fact that I am not the target audience for the game.

This is extremely negative victim mentality.
To say that GGG is building a pyramid and chosen few sit on the top, while the majority is at the bottom...
And people dying to monkey or viper means absolutely nothing.
Everyone dies to those. Including me.
But who cares?
Many of us played the game on the release night.
And this "go online to see" was not an option, because we were the first to face those bosses.
And btw, the campaign was 100 times harder than today.
Sorry, not buying it.

Seems like another great feedback post ruined by "you should play better hehe" comments while the OP is trying to talk about "immersion". I've never seen any community as sweaty and tryhard as PoE community in my entire life.
Neden yaşıyorsun?

they are based on build - warrior can "babysit" them while holding one button on leap slam. Or you have very wrong build or very awful playing and expecting poe 2 to be poe 1. You know you need to roll and so on? and not stay inn all skills like in poe 1?

No one is sweaty try hard here.
His feedback is clear
1. Takes him over 30 minutes to kill a boss.
2. He does not like it and doesn't want to play the game.
And the following is true for me too. If I had to fight a boss for 30 min, and keep failing I would also uninstall it.
Now the problem is that his feedback is absolutely worthless in terms of providing GGG with information what has to be changed.
They cannot simplify the game anymore. Most builds one shot campaign bosses. Or more precisely - send the boss into phase.
He claims that it is irrelevant, but if we know what his actual problem is:
1. GGG may put some in-game guide to make new players avoid his mistake
2. Fixing his problem will immediately resolve his frustration, because he will not have to fight 30 min each boss anymore.

I agree. Every boss is a "check" of some kind. Cold Res Check? Fire Res Check? Lightning Res check? Chaos res check? Problem is you can't overcome the check if proper gear didn't drop or show up on a vendor for you. Every time I get to viper I just quit playing my new alts. Zero poison charms dropped. Zero chaos res available. My dps isn't bad but I eventually run out of potion because I can't mitigate any of the damage and she just spams poison poison poison. I don't want to trade for crap to get through the campaign. I just quit.
