Please return Swap Resistances and Stats

I think we should get some kind of crafting bench which allows us to swap one prefix/suffix per item for another one from the same group and tier at the cost of some currency (higher cost for higher tier).

" I do not think that this is very good idea, especially for the trade league. Especially "the same tier" part. Resistance aside, some damage increase types or skill types are very important for the value of the item. The +3 to melee skills is not even near the +3 to minion/range skills. Same goes for chaos/lightning vs fire/cold. And when crafting, if you know you hit something you did not need, but you can replace it at the end anyway? It will make pointless picking items from the ground, if you can cheat your way with this. |

" There are multiple ways to make use of gold. Gambling for +3 amulets is very simple. Works for SSF as well as trade leagues. For trade leagues, setting buy/sell margin on the same currency in the market allows you to near instantly (in few minutes) to convert all your gold into exalts/divines. In currency items above 1 million gold per 1 div the trade bots are not a problem. If you want a rate better than this you have to be creative and it may take time. |

SSF
Anything that is required, and directly hinders an item from being swapped, should likely be applied in a different manner. I offer that resistances should be applied via item application- like a rune, but not in a slot... or in a slot- it doesn't matter. You just get a drop that is 10% cold resistance... higher ones are 40%- whatever is needed for the scaling to work. Save them up, apply to items, done. However now resistances wouldn't be on items... so it would perhaps effect balance in some manner- you would also have rune resistances and these resistance applications... so I'd remove it from runes and gear. They should be like an implicit. Movement speed on boots should also be treated in this manner. Any major gearing bottleneck of this nature. Then gearing is much smoother, which inherently will mean more fun. Its absolutely ridiculous to have gearing as nearly THE main thing of the game, and its so difficult to change gear that you rarely do. Especially when you take into consideration weapons, amulets, rings, offhands. How many people here are wearing something at 70 that they found at 30. That is a massive problem. Basically, there are things on gear that are so powerful, you can't swap without having it. Such as +x skill level on weapons and offhands. They are also incredibly rare. This means that those things will be your bottlenecks, its not rocket science. If they aren't rare, its not a big deal. If they aren't busted in comparison to other mods, its not a big deal. Overall, its a balance issue. Resistances are not balance. They are a big deal because of combined rarity. Most will need a 3 suffix match, all with good rolls. Then consider chaos resistance and trying to get that upgraded and blended in... lol. The combined chances make gear stagnant. Time for the next stage. |

" ??? What?! lol. Gold is already a massive bottleneck for crafting and trading. The gold costs are very high right now. The only people who don't think so are people who don't engage much with crafting or trading items. |
