HOW price check my items now??

L3+triangle not working now, and finding my gear on new market takes dozens of times longer.... HOW TO price check now????????

I do very much want the L3 + Triangle shortcut back... but you're SUPER exaggerating the time difference.

If it's a unique item, all you have to do is type part of the name (enough to be specific to that item).

If it's not a unique, the L3 + Triangle only opened the category (and gave you a fairly useless "matching influences if there is influence"), so you could also get the equivalent search typing say "warl" and then picking "warlock gloves" from the quick list that appears. And, unlike the old trade market, you can now specify additional stuff if you want to, which is way more useful than "here's the entirety of all listings o the same base type".

you gotta open the market page then check all the items with a name search and then you gotta go back to stash and price it ^^

this is an improvement as before you had to go trough all this trouble by pressing 1 button combination and check the price go back and price it XD

This trade change is terrible as we basically get the trade market we had before but have to pay gold for the same feature we have had for free for over 16 leagues

and the audacity to say that this is an improvement just because pc players were in a terrible trade situation is just ridiculous

Look, it's got some warts, but Async trade has some serious advantages:

1) works when the other player is offline

2) prevents 95% of scams/fraud

3) Doesn't require to leave your map/bossfight/delve/etc when someone wants to buy something

4) Eliminates annoying whisper/TM messages from lowballers/trolls

I'm sure there are more too.

Yes, I hope they'll give us back the "look up on trade" shortcut. Yes, there are some other features in need of help.

But after some tweaking, it will 1000% better.

FYI for anyone reading this, if you have the option of using a web browser for your trade searches (from laptop/tablet/etc), it's WAY better than the in-game thing in its current state.

the problem is just that there is a gold barrier a currency that was told to us doesn't matter that much once (probably still doesn't matter for the t17 meta slaves) ^^ and that the old system was exactly like this with some barriers that they told us for 4 years ''we don't wanna change it''

the old market system was amazing and adding async trading to it and a filter function that would actually filter would have been 3 times better than what we have now.

Also a big problem is that they didn't convert the old tabs which had the sell function into the new tabs with the same sell function ^^

It has some serious disadvantages too

1. It costs gold. A lot.

2. It needs separate tabs and only the small 12x12 ones are supported.

3. The searching from the console is slow and awkward. The old browsing by category was much easier/quicker.

4. Inflated prices, was the case on POE2 for instant buyout, likely going to be worse with small console market.

5. Less availability of small/cheap items like 1c uniques or maps. Fewer people will list those, expect your 1c uniques to be 10c and no more buying maps at 1c for your easy atlas completion.

Sure I have hope it can get better but IMHO the disadvantages right now far outweigh any of the advantages.

What would really help on the small console market

1. More merchant tab types, quad, map etc.

2. Lower gold costs

3. More slots (MANY) in currency market, maybe zero gold cost to list items. Trades take far to long to complete so its not worth your limited slots to list most things.

1. It was working offline before, you put offer - you go to sleep - you wake up and take the item(with one of the kind items). Sure, it wasnt instant, but i wouldnt call old system "only online".

2. Scams will still be there for people who still want to trade Or price check with "whisper" trading.

3. As any console players were leaving important maps for trade offers.

4. I still get whisper trade annoying trades, cheapskates still get option to waste sellers time.

I understand that you want to be positive with new changes, but at the end of the day we got a downgrade vs oldsystem.

I was asking for async trade since legion league btw^^ and back then it was never gonna happen as it was too easy ^^

The Problem i got is:

1. The filters are terrible at least for now as most needed ones don't work and then you gotta name filtersearch every time.

2. Also these new tabs are very annoying for SSF so if you play both modes you got stupid tabs either for 1 mode :/ to remove the stash tabs from the stash to add friction by opening another menu is silly

3. They told us the old system still exists :/ simply a lie? This is also the triangle+r3 combination which was great (haven't played trade for a year)

4. The trade doesn't feel like a trade anymore :/ everything (at least currency) feels like it has a fixed price :( so they could already give a npc that sells us these at the rating it is at that moment :/ and that feels very anti POE philosophy (probably an older problem which made me switch to ssf)

5. The converting way of these tabs is very confusing^^ it isn't possible on the console (not that big of a problem for me) and i got the option to convert 8 transactions for 17 premium tabs in total ^^ as 17/8 doesn't make sense i got no clue how many tabs get converted after pressing which button ^^

It's gotten worse. I have to spend a lot more time managing the store. Without a program for instantly checking prices like PC players, it's terrible. I could always set a rough price and agree if a decent offer came in. There's no haggling. Now, no one will buy unless you have the lowest price. They'll buy from someone who constantly adjusts the prices of their 100,500 items. I want to play the game, not manage the economy of Narnia. All I needed was a ban list for trolls and a more convenient search.

Seriously people are complaining about gold??? Even alch and go with no juicing should get u 10k a map. Synthesis maps like 25k.

Also u can look for specific mods on rares now. Makes it easy when it only show mods like +1 all skills, or rings with 100 life and 2 tier 1 mods. Don't have to scroll through page after page.
