What are you talking about? Are you maybe a PC player maybe replying in a console thread that is unaware that the PS and XB versions of POE1 have had an asynchronous trade market forever???

It was removed and replaced with the new PC one that has instant buyout, which our old one didn't have.

The new async trade is inferior in many ways to the old console version and the changes made what was already a small and sometimes difficult market to deal with 10 times worse.

I think you are unware that both of the markets are still available! You just need to make you're premium stash public, and there you go.... Like usual. The buyer has 2 options in the trade search, instant buyout or in person!

Or you're meaning the search option that you had before 3.27? Because wasn't a trade system. It was a search system.

Pre-3.27 you put premium tabs public there were two options.

Go to the website and search, send whispers to trade in person (still exists).

Or you could open the in-game trade market, browse through categories and pages of items, for example pick "Maps" then "Dunes", see a map with asking of 2c, send your 2c in an offer then wait for that person to accept or reject your offer, completing the trade asynchronously, i.e. not in person. (removed)

The new instant buyout merchant tabs meant to replace the old trade market has no quad tabs, maps, currency, essences and has caused significant perturbation in the console trade market. inferior solution in many ways.
