Freeze/Shatter visual effects……gone?

I was just about to create a new thread till I saw thiss one. Same with me, it's like the visual effects are gone, sometimes enemies will just be erased when killed.

I hope it is just a bug or something, because very few games are as visually stunning and satisfying as this one.

I also cleared cache etc, updated drivers... but still no Freeze shatter goodness. It's also like some lightning effects seem a bit less powerful? Something has definitely nerfed the visual effects overall I would say.

Same here. I didn't play cold damage builds until recently and at first thought it was my laptop, but it's the same on my desktop. No shatter effects whatsoever...

We can't be the only people that have noticed/experienced this?

Could it be hardware related? As in it only affects a certain GPU or something?

I have an AMD 7900 XT, what does everyone else have?

I am sure this is a bug that will be fixed, but weird that there is not more people complaining.

Had no issues until recently. I was going crazy and thought I did something wrong with my build lol

I played a cold specced build a week ago for a week and also experienced this bug. Enemies just disappear into thin air if you kill them while they are frozen. No shatter or any other effect.

RTX 4070 laptop.

OK cool, so does not look like it is AMD related.

I hope they fix it, it might be something small, but I have now stopped playing my Monk, just not as satisfying without that visual shatter.

Oh well.

Same here. Killings frozen enemies doesn't show the shattering animation anymore, they just vanish ou of thin air. Very unsatisfying.

I literally swapped my build from Cold to Lightning because of this. Please fix.

played chronomancer with frostbolt and 800% freeze buildup. there is shattering.

Still no solution / no communication? It would be nice to know if there's a solution at least temporary to this

It's not working for me either. It seems there's no point in playing until the new league.
