REMOVE chilled ground and temporal chain once and for all.

Is the visual clarity in the room with you right now?

Yes ofc, visual clarity is shit but once again - are you really upset about 30% reduces MS while you have boots which still makes you fast af no matter what?

Because that 30% also affects any boost.

Let's say base speed is the number 100. You have 65% increased speed.

That's 100 x 1.65 = 165 = your speed.

165 x (1 - 0,3) = 115 % movement speed.

I'm not interested in moving like a turtle for 20 seconds because a huge fucking purple circle appeared out of nowhere underneat a clusterfuck animation.

And minion players gets it worse, Your minions are taking the whole fucking screen so theres no chance this is avoidable for them.

Overall this mechanic is an absolute joke. The only logic thing to do is to sell those map and move on with your life. If someone you know invites you into a map that has this mod, they should be excluded from your entourage permanently.

Yeah, it's right there, how could you possibly miss it?

This is entirely your fault. Not only could just listen for the audio cue for Temporal Chains, you could also refrain from spamming the skill 10 times per second. Here's a thought, if there is a dangerous map mode, stop spamming for just a fraction of a second to assess what is actually going on. Play more tactfully when you encounter an affix that is more detrimental than others. You can build for reduced Slowing Penalty in the skill tree as well as on equipment, swap to Wondertrap Silk Slippers, Sierran Inheritance for Chill reversal, Silver Charm with affixes/points invested into charge regen, Obern's Bastion or reduced Chill duration on armour, reduced effect of curses (of which there are 3 quadrants of the skill tree that offer this), etc. This list goes on. You refuse to build for it. You refuse to not run maps without the affix. You refuse to play more tactfully. You refuse to craft waystones without these mods. This is not a game problem.

Here's a thought, when you join a public game, you don't control the spell people play. I would never play a spell that does this kind of visual fuckery.

My maps would never contain one of those mods to beging with, I value my sanity.

So yes, the first mistake was to join a public game.

So basically you are saying, to play a shit stained map, which I can completely ignore and make vastly more currency/xp by simply skipping it, I should :

"1. build for reduced Slowing Penalty in the skill tree as well as on equipment
2. swap to Wondertrap Silk Slippers, Sierran Inheritance for Chill reversal
3. Silver Charm with affixes/points invested into charge regen
4. Obern's Bastion or reduced Chill duration on armour, reduced effect of curses (of which there are 3 quadrants of the skill tree that offer this), etc."

Yes this is real life and I'm really reading this on the forums.

This is difficult accept but I bet you are being genuine and you think these are actually acceptable solutions.

Id rather waste 500 hours in real life, preparing my setup to avoid even 20 second of a temporal chain debuff that spawned under my ass. I hope this makes thing clear. I will not sacrifice my build just to be able to run maps I can sell and skip.

I would rather work 100 hours in automating a process in my job, than take 1 hour each day of my life to do that work manually. I refuse to accept the fact that we need to walk into patches of shit stained snow to play this game.

If this becomes forced, then I will move on to a different game.

Than why being so upset lol
Just sell them and move on.

If you hate it that much it's a solution, other people do other solution.
There is no need to remove it i mean, not like there is tons of other choice atm. They'll most likely develop different mods later on for more diversity.

No need to go wild on a forum for such a small thing imo.

This is not my thread, but these mods are generally detested.

I even have a video that has been posted for months where you can see me vendor a temporal chain map to Alva and this is THE ONLY video I have ever made on Path Of Exile 2. Yes i absolutely fucking hate it very much if I have to join a map with it.

I'm not mad because I can avoid it by not interacting with humans in the game. But when I join public map and see those mods, then I get really fucking mad. I haven't been joining public games for a few weeks now solely because of that. The last public game Ive joined made me sell 2000k div worth of minion gear and abandon that class after over 1800 hours only playing minions. I decided to make a deadeye and I hope the build see 90% usage one day so that GGG finally decide to make speed faster for other classes and work on visual clarity. With 26 minions on the screen you can barely see shit in public games with cluster fuck weird ass spell animation from other players.

The problem is that in general, you always want 6 mods on your map and those mods appear very often. It's a good thing I played trade league in 0.3 because in SSF that would be very harsh.

In trade league I can vendor them and buy the maps I want and always make more currency than I invested so it truly is not a problem if you avoid it.

It would be much better if they didn't exist to begin with because if you do decide to play with those mods, you are 'forced' to ruin your gear or cannibalize your tree.

Nobody said you have to pick everything on that list. Just choose one or two. Those boots for instance...you can just swap to when you get a map with slows lol. It doesn't seem like you're that concerned with defenses anyhow. Have you considered filtering the people you join by chance? So, not only do you want to be efficient and group with people for more currency drops (which is inherently easier due to having more people despite enemy scaling), but you want it to be even less risky? Adjust your build so that you deal less dps but can safely engage with all content easily. Alternatively, be more selective of the players you run with or adjust your gameplay like I described.

I don't care if you leave for another game. Sticking with something you don't like in hopes of it changing sounds pretty unhealthy. This early access stuff is in the game for a reason. Light Radius is in the game to pollute the modifier table. Designing crafting to involve many different currencies exists so that you buy stash tabs. Slows exist so players are incentivized to build a well-rounded character and to give you a puzzle to build around. Slows also exist to increase your chances of dying. Crazy right? It's almost like games need to have friction and rules. The game is in EA so course everything is subject to change, but I like that this stuff is in the game. Can they expand on it? Asbolutely.

I'm sure GGG doesn't want everyone to run full dps, glass cannon builds for all content. That poses problems for game design, balance, and their business model. If you're a glass cannon, then play the content that is suited for it.

You don't need to walk into patches to play this game. It seems you've already solved your issue. Let me get this straight, you want to farm divs efficiently but have every map be just as efficient without having to swap 1 piece of gear or change a few nodes? If slowing waystone modifiers were removed, wouldn't this eat into your profit because you no longer had any waystones to sell? What exactly do you want that you haven't already solved? You're complaining about as aspect of the game that you're not only refusing to play, but are actively avoiding using any uniques, skill tree nodes, gear affixes, and items that what solve this for you. It sounds like you don't even belong in this conversation.

The title of this thread is the following:

That was my +1. My points are pretty much on topic. If you need a visual here's one:

Looks like you've solved OP's issue with that clip. No need to change the game. Thanks for your contribution
