REMOVE chilled ground and temporal chain once and for all.
Seriously. it's so counterproductive and frankly silly to add mods that are just designed to ANNOY people. +, now that we need 4 to 6 affixes on maps to get decent pack size and loot / exp we very often end up with one of those UNPLAYABLE affixes. result = I personally barely can't sustain mapping anymore without needing to buy some. Like the beginning of the open beta.

There are no unplayable affixes. Stack high-recharge Charms, anoint an amulet w/ Crstallised Immunities, or take any of two dozen passives on the tree to deal with these effects.

Temporary chains and all the slow ground effects putted by Devs to prevent Dead Eyes 140-170% MS but failed to balance game. Literally made game for non meta builds worst.
People don't need any new content, f...g runs or anything else than fixing balance issue. |

" Straight talk: if you don't know how to remediate slows, you are not a very good player. Lack of ritual tablets = real problem Slows on waystones = skill issue SSF Rise of the Abyssal Ice Strike Invoker, high survivability and fast clear speed. Deprioritize armor and resistances; prioritize crafting a weapon and faster start of ES recharge. Build is shown at level 47, end of Act 3. It tore through Act 3 like butter.

" right. I'm level 100 and I don't know what I'm talking about. right right. There is a clear visual problem clarity in the game, whilst it's fun when everything blows there is absolutely no way for certain builds to see the proc of temporal chain. + when it's about high level grinding it's more about farming than playing this game like a Dark soul. That's why this combination of ARPG and Soul like only works for the campaign and not for 2k hours more of exp / loot grinding. Volfa - level 100

It was really bad but the latest changes made it much better tbh.
Even without anything to deal with it it's not that bad, there is hardly any patch anymore. Unless you're using old maps prior to the latest patch because thoose didnt got changed. Temporal chain you have time to dodge away from it if it fall on you. You dont see them always i agree with visual effect but overall they're really not the worst mods imo. SSF player

Now that i think about it I never had any patches of chilled ground effects in any of the dark souls / elden ring / bloodborne game I've been playing. and big suprise = these are way more challenging than POE 2.
I mean what is the point of putting tons of stains of slow on the ground ? what's the goal? yes I manage to NOT walk in them, YAY!' I'm sorry are we playing Mario or Indiana Jones? This is a very BAD and BOTCHED game mechanic. Volfa - level 100

Tbf they're all annoying =)
Either they deal more damage, either they're too fast, either they're too tanky. It's mean for that. None are really "challenging" as it is. Idk i find them whatever. Personaly the one i avoid are multiple projectiles and +crit chance/damage. Thoose have a personal tab where they rot in my stash. One day i'll sell them all to Doryani. Gold is useless to him anyway =) SSF player
