Azmeri Reliquary Key?

If its like that it should be stated in the wiki no ? the wiki says "Azmeri Reliquary Key has restrictions on where or how it can drop." every other special key in the game has something to do with a boss, the azmerian mechanic doesnt have a specific boss unless the azmerian ranges one , but that cant be it... I wonder where you have that information from about that it can drop anywhere from up to level 35

Could you please try to remind yourself what exactly you were doing for this key to drop for you ? Im on the craziest whitch hunt cause i just saw this is in the game. Were you specced into a specific wisp strat ? Was it just a random drop ? Cause i think people even trolled me on reddit saying you have to possess a lichborn exile which is a reborn exile from the abyss with a sacred wisp. Can you confirm that you were not doing this ? appreciate the answer buddy

Oh, sorry, topic got away from me there for a while :p
I always save a few atlas points to spec into what i consider to be required nodes to make the wisp mechanic a bit smoother to engage with. But those just speed up the possession, offer the chance to release wisps on death and provide an extra chunk of rarity for drops from possessed monsters.
I can't say for sure anymore whether the key itself dropped from a possessed monster or not, but even if it did, it's not a drop restricted to them. Only the charm itself is.
I do recall it dropped from a map with a very high amount or rarity (probably 450+) because at that time, the whole 'double-juicing' was a thing.
And that's basically all to it. It's the rarest vault key there is because of it's guaranteed and valuable return. If you really want one, either make sure your maps, atlas and gear have plenty of rarity, or just snipe one on the market if one is ever sold.
And no, lich-born exiles have absolutely nothing to do with this and are not what i was doing :)

In relation to that level, i looked that up on poe2db.tw
As you can see there as well, there is no other drop restriction mentioned.
Besides, i can guarantee the key dropped for me during a plain old boring map run :) My map was T15 though, so just in case you want to be sure, stick to high tier maps.

Best of luck in your endeavors :)

The info in that posted link is incorrect as can be verified by checking the POE website.

An azmeri reliquary key guarantuees a unique from the loot table of azmeri spirit possessed monsters. There is currently only 1 unique limited to being dropped by possessed monsters and that is the rite of passage unique golden charm, therefore that is what you will get. Gl in getting the 'of the cat' :)

PS : Mine was a 'bear'

What part was incorrect?

The part where it says that the key guarantuees a foil unique from any of those selected by supporters whom have purchased the liberator of Wraeclast supporter pack. The key for that is called the Twilight reliquary key. The Azmeri one instead guarantuees what i stated earlier.
And the key can drop anywhere from monster level 35 and up i believe, but it's ludicrously rare, just like the charm itself (that one can only drop from azmeri spirit possessed monsters)

Ha imagine using a secret quest item for the wrong reason
“In all the realms of heaven and in all the realms of hell I alone am heralded as the honored one, who am I?”
