Endgame feels a LOT better
I think there is more to do with making the endgame up to snuff, but just wanted to say the decision to remove rares from content completion and just put in a map boss feels a LOT better when it comes to mapping.

There is a lot of negative stuff from 0.3.1 but yeah triumphs for me;
Delirium was cleaned up, looks way better Performance was improved (for me) +20fps average on one patch is massive No rares on minimap lets you actually look at your character and monsters without permanent overlay The new precursor system has problems, but also has promise and I know they can fix them I hate to admit, because I really wanted there to be the same amount of monsters in T15+, but the changes to how packs spawn further apart actually does make the game look a lot better. When I look at my footage comparing 0.3 to 0.3.1, at first I only saw less monsters, but now I notice it just feels better. I like the removal of towers for the endgame longevity and big picture, but in the immediate I dont think it was the best move. Tablets could really use some quality of life. I like the utility they provide especially with respect to niche strategies, but the tedium involved in just prepping a map/tablet is just so miserable.
I dont know about other players but lag for me and my really nice RIG has actually been worse. Even longer load times, fps drops to around 20-30fps from about 120fps. And ultimately performance and lag spikes are my main criticism for the update. |

" So true. And these people don't even realise that when taking in feedback obviously games with large player bases have to disregard the feedback that is too far one way or the other. If they accounted for extreme takes then the average would be too messed up. |

Agree with this post yes.
They have lots to add when it comes to "activities" on the atlas. Just gotta hope they do more things like deadlybosses, overrun maps and such. Nice to have more to do. But I am happy bosses are on every map and path of mini map rare hunting has been dampened. Mash the clean

" Performance was better for me, but I saw some players complaining about 0.3.1 being laggy. I have a suspicion because GGG reduced the amount of mobs, your FPS actually rests higher and so the FPS dips are larger, and Dynamic Culling doesn't kick in as often. Try capping your FPS to around where it sits when stuff starts happening, and raising Dynamic Culling to the average first FPS drop you experience when stuff starts going on. Say you're usually 200fps, but when stuff happens it goes to 120, cap fps to 120, when at 120fps and a large amount of stuff happening, say the first FPS drop is -40, so you would set Dynamic Culling to start at 80 FPS. Doing this will just reduce the amount of frame time you actually lose and smoothen out the experience of lag itself. Players probably already did this, and now the frame of the game has changed a bit their settings are out of whack. Another fix is some people reported that Nvidia started using a PoE1 profile on PoE2. So maybe if you're using a Nvidia GPU check your profiles and make sure that didn't happen to you.
